AVIRA'S POV

As I stepped in the hall where the party was going on , I felt a strange pull towards something , like something is attracting me towards them. It seemed that it is destined for me to come to the party and now my life is gonna take a new turn.

"Avira!" Bhai waved his hand in front of my face, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Yes bhai" I replied, coming out of my chain of thoughts

"Where are you lost?" He asked , his brows furrowing slightly, but before I could reply, he continued, "Look Avi, don't panic. Just be yourself and remember I am here too to handle everything. Okay?"

"Yeah," I nodded, finding a bit of confidence in his words.

"Good. Now, come on, let's go meet Mr. Oberoi," he said, signaling towards a well-dressed man across the room.

"Hey, Evening Mr. Oberoi" ,Bhaii greeted him warmly.

Mr. Oberoi turned, a warm smile spreading across his face as he greeted my brother. "Ah, good evening! So glad you both could make it." His eyes flickered to me for a moment, and I suddenly felt exposed, like I was being observed not just by him but by the whole room.

"This is my sister, Avira," Bhai introduced, motioning towards me.

I gave a polite smile, hoping it hid the nervousness bubbling inside me. "Nice to meet you, Mr. Oberoi," I said softly, trying to keep my voice steady.

As they engaged in conversation , I found my attention slipping away again, drawn by that same magnetic pull I felt earlier. My eyes scanned the room, drifting over the shimmering decorations and mingling guests, before landing on a figure across the hall.

He was standing alone, almost hidden in the crowd, yet something about him drew me in. Our eyes met for just a fleeting second, but it felt like time stopped. My breath caught, and I felt an unfamiliar flutter in my chest. His gaze was intense, like he saw right through me. I wanted to look longer, to understand why I felt this way-but before I could, someone passed between us, breaking the moment.

"Avira, are you with us?" Bhai's voice pulled me back to reality.

"Y-yes," I replied, quickly glancing away from the crowd, trying to regain my composure. But the lingering sensation of that brief connection wouldn't leave me.

AVYANSH'S P.O.V.

The party was the usual-same faces, same conversations. I preferred keeping to myself, observing from the edges. These events were more of a formality, a requirement for maintaining relationships in business. I had become an expert at blending in despite being the most influential person here.

But tonight felt different. There was an unusual energy in the room that I couldn't shake. It was subtle at first, but soon, it became impossible to ignore.

My eyes scanned the crowd almost instinctively, searching for the source of this pull, and then I saw a girl but the dim lighting and the crowd moving around made it impossible to see her face fully, but our eyes met. For just a moment, time seemed to freeze. Her gaze, partially hidden by the shadows and people passing by, was magnetic, pulling me in despite the distance between us.

Before I could even make sense of the connection, a man walked between us, breaking the eye contact. And just like that, the moment was over.

I hadn't even seen her face, yet I felt an inexplicable pull toward her. Something about that fleeting exchange lingered, leaving me wanting more. Who she was?

The party dragged on longer than I would have liked. Faces blurred together as I exchanged polite words and handshakes, but my mind wasn't in it. Even as the evening wound down, I couldn't stop replaying that brief, intense moment when our eyes met.

I hadn't even seen her face, yet something about her gaze had captured me in a way nothing ever had before. It was infuriating. The connection had been fleeting-disrupted by a man walking between us-but it had left a mark on me.

When the party finally ended, I slipped out, heading straight home. The drive back was quiet, but my mind was anything but. I stared out of the window, trying to push the thought of her away, but her eyes-those eyes-kept haunting me.

Who was she? Why did such a small moment feel like it was more than just coincidence?

By the time I reached home, the night felt heavier. I couldn't stop thinking about her, replaying that brief moment in my head, trying to make sense of why I felt this way.

I didn't sleep much that night. My mind was restless, turning over the possibilities, trying to figure out who she could be.

The next morning, I headed to the office early, driven by a need for answers. The moment I sat down at my desk, I called for Rohit, my manager. He was good at finding people-he had a network for this sort of thing.

"Rohit" I called as he entered my office.

"Yes, sir?" He stood, ready to take notes.

"I need you to find out everything about a woman who was at the party last night," I said, keeping my voice controlled, though I could feel the impatience bubbling inside me.

Rohit looked momentarily surprised but nodded. "Do you have a name, sir?"

I shook my head. "No, I didn't get a name. But I'll describe her. She was with the guests near Mr. Oberoi. Start from there and track her down. I want everything-who she is, her background, where she's from."

He didn't ask any questions, just nodded. "I'll get on it immediately, sir."

As he left, I leaned back in my chair, exhaling slowly. I had no idea why this was affecting me so much, but one thing was certain-I had to find her.
