4: Red Intentions

03rd person pov:

Hawks couldn't sleep. His mind racing with what could happen to the man he saved. Those cyan eyes were full of  sarrow and hate. Glaring at the grand alpha with murderous intent. Should he try to force him to stay. The look in his eyes and body covered in scars tells a story of abuse. Horrors he could never imagine.

In the cool autumn air of night. Hawks goes for a flight to calm his mind. Passing over shigaraki's terf. Just before reaching the dangerous terf that boarders blue. He hears a voice behind him.

Shig:"So what brings you here Hawks? Looking for your run away omega?"

Haw:" I'm not in the mood for your bullshit."

Shigaraki flys infront of the other male in the sky. Leaning in close.

Shig:"Did something happen to him? I could help you know."

Hawks looks away and huffs. So shigaraki whispers in his ear.

Shig:"that Man is making a move. Rumors are that he's come out of hiding after news got around about the omega."

Shigaraki then backs off.

Shig:"If you need any help. Don't be afraid to ask. Even though we aren't together anymore. I stilyoam on your side."

Hawks nods and flys off at full speed. Hoping to get to endeavours lands before he's noticed. When his feathers catch the vibration of something flying at him. Dodging the spike of gound that shoots Up at him like a bullet.  Glaring down ready for the challenge. He sees a cloaked figure running on the street and into an alleyway that goes underground.

Haw:You'll have to do better than that.^"I might have been born at night, but it wasn't last night."

Hawks takes off to where Dabi's phone signal came from. That's when he sees a shrine and graveyard.

Haw:"Wait, this is-"

Blue light coming from the temple catches his eye. So he lands on the roof and looks down in a hole. That's when he sees dabi using his flames to burn trash to stay warm. So Hawks perches there to watch over him for the night. Only to pass out after an hour of two. As dabi slept peacefully through the night. Only to wake up to the sounds of movement. That's when he sees dabi sneaking by the graves. Hawks then sees the omega stalking someone until they leave. A young man with white hair burns an incent and sets down an offering of rice balls before leaving.

Haw:^Is this how you've survived all this time?^

Dabi then takes every bit of food to eat, and does something unthinkable. He puts out the incent. This causes hawks to stand up in angry.

Haw:"What the fuck!?"

Dabi hears him and looks up.

Dabi:"Does this piss you off?"

Hawks lands and grabs dabi by the shirt. Lifting him off the ground and pinning him to the gravestone.

Haw:"You have no right to do that! I understand about the food, but the incent?"

Dabi smirks and grabs hawks hands to get free. Yet the grand alpha isn't letting up.

Dabi:"What are you going to do? Imprison me, hurt me, FUCK ME!? Do your worse. I have no fight left in me anymore. So many years I've watched them visit, but never once did they actually care enough to fucking look. Even my so called friend gave up! Isn't that right Keigo takami."

Hawks eyes widen and he releases the omega.

Haw:"How do you know that name?"

Dabi takes a step forward and hawks backs up.

Dabi:"Take away good look and you'll find the answer."

Their eyes lock for a moment. As Hawks sees his own reflection mirrored in cyan eyes.

Haw:"T..ouya?"

His voice softly and quiet as he asks. Only to get no answer, but instead a back turned to him.

Dabi:"Go home birds. You aren't safe here."

Dabi holds fire in his hands before swinging back to hit those red wings. So Hawks jumps out of the way.

Haw:"I.... I'm-"

Davi:"Sorry doesn't mean jack shit to me! Instead of keeping your promise to keep my secret. You told him.... it's your fault he tried to sell me to golden grand alpha! Then others found out and I had to fight to survive!"

Hawks lands and drops all of his feathers at Dabi's feet before getting on his hands and knees.

Haw:"I didn't know what else to do! I tried to keep it a secret, but your father already knew. That's why he kicked me out of his territory! He thought I was trying to steal you away as a power move. Your father only wanted the best for you!...... I'm not asking for forgiveness. I just wanna start over and have my best friend back! Please touya. Let me make things right."

Dabi:"Why did you come here, really?"

Haw:"I wanted to offer you your own place at my territory. I'll even give you a feather necklace so everyone there will leave you alone."

Dabi hears shigaraki's words repeat again. So he steps forward. As Hawks looks up. Dabi bends down. Their lips inches away. As dabi closes his eyes.

Dabi:^Let's see what your true intentions are.^

Hawks moves back and falls on his ass. Flustered and startled by the change in behavior.

Haw:"I'm sorry, but i can't return your feelings. Well, not yet. Maybe in time.

Dabi:"Has your feelings changed that much about me? Is it because I'm not pretty anymore?"

Dabi moves closer to straddles Hawks who closes his eyes.

Haw:"That isn't it."

Dabi:"Oh? What is it then?"

Dabi's fingers trace the grand alpha's lines of his abs and up to his chin. Where he gently grasps it.

Haw:"We've changed so much over the years. So I'd like to rekindle our bond first. Take our time to get to know the new us."

Dabi sees Hawks eyes beginning to water up. So he backs off.

Dabi:"You aren't joking are you?"

Haw:"I'm demisexual tou- Dabi."

Dabi stands up and walks a few steps away before letting out a sigh.

Dabi:"Fine, I'll take you up on your offer."

Hawks eyes glimmer with joy so he calls his feathers back.

Haw:"I'll give you time to pack. Then we'll make a stop before heading home."

Dabi:"Where?"

Hawks mood changes as he nervously scratches his own chin.

Haw:"To endeavours? We won't tell him who you are if that's what you want, but you were captured on his terf and sold off here. So we need to get answers. If endeavour was really behind this. I'll see to it that he's sentenced properly for his crimes."

Hawks tightens his fists in anger at the thought. Telling dabi where his stance on the issue is.
