7: Try Something New

3rd person pov:

Dabi wakes up to see a homemade breakfast setting beside his bed with a note.

Dabi looks to see that he's alone. So he reads the note.

<I had alot of fun last night. Sorry about leaving before you woke up. Had to get some supplies for the bar. Give me a call if you ever wanna hang out, or stay in for the night.>

There's a number at the bottom. So, dabi programs it as <grand submissive>

After eating. Dabi lays back down. Remembering the night before. However,  something feels off. As if it only irritated the desire further.

Dabi:"what the fuck? I thought this feeling would go away by now."

Frustrated, dabi desides to take a walk. Once dressed. He heads out for some fresh air.

Elsewhere,  hawks is flying around to keep his area crime free. When shigaraki flys up to him.

Shig:"Still an early bird i see. So tell me, how far have you gotten with him? If you don't make a move soon. I may have to swoop down and take him for myself. "

Haw:"Don't you have to be somewhere else?"

His voice has a touch of annoyance.  So shigaraki gets infront Of hawks.

Shig:"Let's make a bet. If you can kiss him before I bed him. You win, and I'll do anything you ask for an entire day, but if I win. You have to do one thing for me. No refusal of what it could be."

Haw:"If i agree. Will you leave me alone?"

Shigaraki hokd out his hand.

Shig:"Do we have a deal?"

With a heavy sigh. Hawks shakes his hand, and shigaraki chuckles while flying away. Hawks then lands to pick up a coffee. That's when he catches sight of dabi. So he orders an extra and rushes over.

Haw:"Hey dabi!"

The omega looks away and keeps walking. So hawks runs over to him.

Haw:"I got you a coffee. I wasn't sure how you take it. So I got it black."

Dabi takes the drink and sips in. While Hawks walks beside him.

Haw:"If you don't have anything planned today. I was wondering if you wanted to hang out? Maybe go to an arcade, or just people watch and get a bite to eat for dinner?"

Dabi smiles and chuckles. Causing the grand alpha to be confused.

Dabi:"You suck at asking someone out on a date."

Hawks blushes and looks away.

Haw:"I was only trying not to come off so strongly. Ike I said before. It takes me awhile to warm up. So hanging out to me is like being with a friend. Should it advance further with time. I won't fight it. Then we'll both be ready to take that step together."

Dabi glances over for a moment before looking at head. Since Hawks is looking down. He doesn't notice until dabi grabs his hand.

Dabi:"Taking our time is fine by me. So where to?"

Hawks eyes light up and his smile softens more.

Haw:"Tbink, you can still beat me at mortal combat?"

Dabi:"Oh I know i can still kick your ass."

Haw:"Well, let's find out."

Dabi:"You're on!"

As both go to the arcade. Shigaraki watched from above.

Shig:"Looks like I've got to speed up. Otherwise this bet will be over before it gets started."

Throughout the day. Dabi wins against Hawks in fighting games, hawks wins in racing, dabi wins in sheeball, but loses at air hockey. By 5pm Hawks and dabi stop for some pizza.

Dabi:"Not bad. Looks like i need some practice to put you back in your place."

Haw:"Anytime, anywhere. All you need to do is call."

Both lean in close. Both of their faces turned red as they inch closer. Just as their hands were about to touch. They suddenly stop.

Shig:"So this is where you both are."

Haw:"Shit."

Shigaraki sits on the other side of dabi.

Shig:"Why not hang out with someone more expireanced? Stop by my place and we can play games to show who has real skills."

Hawks growls and shigaraki pushes him away.

Shig:"Just one date is all I'm asking for. So what do you say? The worst thing you could lose is just a few hours of time."

Hawks stands up and storms over to shigaraki.

Shig:"I wouldn't try anything. After all, it's not your choice to make, but his."

Dabi stands up and grabs the cat plush he won in a claw game.

Dabi:"Give me time to think about it. See you later hawks. I had fun today. So let's do it again sometime."

Hawks nods as dabi walks away.  Then he glares at the other grand alpha in the room.

Shig:"I couldn't let you win that easily.  Especially since he's frustrated right now. You can smell it too can't you? He's craving an alpha's touch. The fragrance of lust surrounds him more and more as we hang out with him. Before long, he'll be unable to resist, and offer himself to the first one he sees. The omega is fighting it off for now, but his nature to submit will eventually overtake him."

Hawks looks at dabi with concern in his eyes.

Haw:"I just hope that he doesn't get in trouble. Now grand alpha green has gone missing. I suspect fowl play."

Shig:"Then let us be the ones to protect him."

Instead of going home. Dabi goes to the bar. This time without the bandanas.

Chis:"Welcome- not in the mood tonight?"

Dabi:"Long Island iced tea."

Chis:"Damn tough day? Since no one else is here. Wanna talk about your day? I'm a good listener you know."

Dabi sighs as chisaki prepares the drink.

Dabi:"What happened yesterday was amazing,  but I feel as if... I don't know! Like I wasn't in the right headspace."

Chisaki sets down the glass and pushes it across the counter top.

Chis:"Have you ever tried subbing before?"

Dabi:"I don't trust anyone enough to give over control like that."

Chis:"Then go out and find them. I'm not the one for hiving. That just isn't how I roll, but I'm sure there's gotta be someone out there."

Dabi doesn't speak for awhile as he gets lost in thought. Remembering the sweet smell that came from shigaraki. One that calls to him like a craving chocolate. He also gets it from hawks, but only in waves. It's as if hawks is trying to suppress it.

Dabi:"Their smells. It's nothing like yours."

By this point dabi is drunk and begins to get sleepy.

Dabi:"Your smell is almost like honey. Stronger than the oth...ers."

Chis:"oh? How unfortunate. I'd better hold back. I wouldn't want to influence you into falling for me."
