5: Meeting Between Packs

3rd person pov:

Dabi glares at the man before him, who looks nervous.

Dabi:"So how do we do this?"

Hawks blushes and looks away.

Haw:"I'd have to carry you."

Dabi begins to walk away.

Dabi:"I'd rather walk. See you there in a few minutes."

Hawks takes flight and swoops down. Picking dabi up in an embrace.

Haw:"You'll be fine. Just try to to move alot."

Dabi:"I said I can walk! Are all of you this stubborn?"

Haw:"We each are stubborn in different ways. I'm all about simplicity. Endeavour is after his plans, and shigaraki is about his wants. As for the others. I couldn't say."

Dabi looks down and sees the beauty view on mountains, farms, and a city off in the distance.

Dabi:"So this is what it's like."

Hawks smiles and uses two feathers for dabi to stand on for support.

Haw:"If you want. I could show you the few at night?"

The omega huffs and closes his eyes. So the grand alpha picks up speed. It isn't long before they reach the city. Where dabi sees his reflection in the windows of towering buildings all around. Hawks then darts up. Causing dabi to grip tighter.

Haw:"Still not a fan of hights?"

Dabi:"Shut it, bird brain."

Once above the tallest building. They land on the roof. Dabi's knees quiver as he steps on solid ground. That's when both hear a comand8ng tone.

Dabi:"Try warning me before you-"

And:"What brings you here hawks, and who is this with you?"

Endeavor steps up and looms over dabi. Glaring down at what he thinks is a beta standing before him.

Dabi meets his gaze and grits his teeth. With a low growl. The omega is about to strike. So hawks gets between them.

Haw:"This is the one I told you about, but before we get started. I'd like to talk more in private. It would seem he's back. I've been informed that he's up to something nefarious. So I was wondering if we could exchange information as allies."

With a heavy breath. Endeavour let's them in his office. Hawks sits across from the other grand alpha. While dabi stands in the corner of the room.

End:"So what have you to Tell?"

Hawks smiles fades as he leans forward. Eyes narrow with focus as he speaks.

Haw:"I found him for sale at an illegal auction on your terf."

End:"Do you know who's responsible?"

Haw:"Not as of yet, but I hope to know soon."

Endeavour looks at the omega who has his glare locked on him ever since they've met.

End:"Can you remember anything  about those who took you?"

Dabi closes his eyes and pushes off the wall to approach.

Dabi:"Several men, each with a different colored feather necklace. They ambushed me on your lands aswell. However, I did recognize one as you're beta."

Dabi looks at Hawks who looks down.

Haw:"I'm sorry. He was undercover to help me find grand alpha black. He wrnt missing several years ago and no one has heard from him ever since."

Dabi steps back and clicks his tungue in frustration before leaning against the wall again.

End:"So no leads? Maybe he isn't so safe with you. After all, he's from my territory. That means I have first claim to offer protection."

Dabi:"You couldn't keep your own family safe. What makes you think you can protect anyone? I was captured On these very lands! To be honest, I'd rather take my chances in Hawks terf than yours old man."

Endeavour stands up in anger. As dabi hit a nerve with the comment above his family.

End:"The fuck did you just say!?"

Dabi chuckles and looks up at Endeavour.

Dabi:"You can't keep them out, and you're losing territory everyday. Soon you'll rule over nothing."

Endeavours eyes widen in shock and aw.

End:"How do you know that? I haven't told anyone. "

Dabi:"I know more than you think, enji todoroki."

The moment his real name is spoken. Enji sees beyond the scars.

Dabi:"Let's go home. I need to wash off the filth from this place."

Hawks bows in an apology before grabbing dabi and leaving.

As they fly over black territory. Golden eyes watch from below.

Dabi:"So who's the guy you're after?"

Haw:"The grand alpha of black. He goes by overhaul, and he's very dangerous. I hope you never meet him."

Once at an appointment complex. Hawks sets the omega down and hands him the keys.

Haw:"This is your new home. It's not much, but at least it'll keep you warm."

Once Hawks shows dabi around. He goes to leave. Only for them to hear a knock on the door. When dabi opens the door. He sees an unexpected guest.

Shig:"So this is where you live?"

Hawks looks over Dabi's shoulder before pushing him back in.

Haw:"Back off shigaraki. He's free to choose, but for now. Just let him get ajusted."

Hawks looks back at dabi.

Haw:"Sorry about my ex. He can be a bit too much at times."

Shig:"That's rich coming from the man who waited three years and never once took me to bed. Careful with this guy. He's a slow one. In the meantime. Should you ever just want a good fucking. You have my number-"

Hawks slams the door and huffs.

Haw:"That idiot."

Dabi:"Is that why you two broke up?"

Haw:"Yeah. He wanted something that I wasn't ready to give yet."

Hawks hands dabi the keys and opens the front door.

Haw:"The place is fully stocked on food. Should you need anything. I left my number on the fridge. Later dabi."

Hawks in blushing as he walks out. Then when the door closes. Hawks glares back to see shigaraki flying home at full speed.

Haw:"You better run."

Hawks looks at the door and smiles before taking flight.

As dabi gets settled in to his new home by taking a shower. He then looks in the pantry.

Dabi:"No booze? Looks like I'm going to the bar tonight."

Dabi puts on the red feather necklace and takes a but of cash that Hawks left him. He then pulls out his wallet with fake ID.
