Chapter 18: A Family Reunion

The morning sun gently filtered through the blinds, casting a soft glow over the Bigg Boss house. Taehyung stirred first, a strange feeling in her chest making her shift slightly. As she opened her eyes, she blinked at the sight before her—Jungkook's arm was draped over her, his hand resting a little too comfortably on her chest. Her cheeks flushed instantly.

"What the..." Taehyung muttered under her breath, trying to gently pry his hand away without waking him up.

But as she tried to move his hand, Jungkook shifted in his sleep, squeezing her chest even more tightly. Her eyes widened in shock and embarrassment.

"Yah!" she whispered sharply, squirming beneath his touch, but his grip only tightened. Finally, she gave him a firm push, sending him tumbling off the bed with a loud thud.

"Ow!" Jungkook groaned, rubbing his head as he sat up on the floor, looking confused. "What just happened?"

Taehyung sat up, her face still flushed from the awkward situation. "You... you were—ugh, never mind!" She buried her face in her hands, too flustered to explain.

Jungkook tilted his head, a mischievous smile slowly creeping onto his face as realization dawned. "Ohhh," he teased, his grin widening. "That's why it felt so soft."

"Yah!" Taehyung exclaimed, throwing a pillow at him, but he dodged it, laughing as he climbed back onto the bed.

"You're such a pervert," she muttered, trying to hide her embarrassment, but Jungkook just chuckled and leaned in to give her a quick peck on the cheek.

"Sorry, I was asleep," he said playfully, though the twinkle in his eyes betrayed his amusement. "I promise it wasn't intentional."

Taehyung huffed, still embarrassed, but couldn't help the small smile that tugged at her lips. "Yeah, yeah, just get ready for the day, you idiot."

After sharing a quick breakfast with the rest of the housemates, Jungkook and Taehyung fulfilled their breakfast duty. The two worked seamlessly together, setting out plates and serving food while stealing glances at each other.

Once the morning routine was complete, Bigg Boss summoned all the housemates to the living room for an important announcement. The air buzzed with anticipation as they gathered, wondering what new twist or task awaited them this time.

As they all settled on the couches, the familiar voice of Bigg Boss echoed throughout the house.

"Housemates, this week marks a special occasion. It is time for the Freeze and Family Week. During this week, each of your family members will visit the house. However, there's a twist. While your loved ones are in the house, you will all be in a 'freeze' state. You must not move, speak, or interact with them until Bigg Boss releases you. Only then can you meet and talk to them."

Gasps and murmurs filled the room as the contestants processed the announcement. Taehyung's heart leaped at the thought of seeing her father after so many weeks in the house, but she also felt a wave of nerves wash over her. Jungkook glanced at her, sensing her unease, and gave her a reassuring smile.

"This will be fun," he whispered, squeezing her hand gently.

Bigg Boss continued, "Housemates, the first family member to visit will be Taehyung's father. Housemates, freeze!"

Suddenly, a cold silence fell over the house as all the contestants froze in their positions, unable to move or speak. Taehyung felt her heart race as she sat there, perfectly still, waiting for her father to enter.
