Left broken- Chapter 10

Adeline POV

I can't remember how I got here but at some point last night I made it into my hotel room and especially into my bed.

My eyes feel swollen and my throat dry from all the crying. However my mind was blank. I felt so much yesterday that there are no more emotions left in me for today.

Maybe it's an reaction from my mind to stop myself from being any more hurt so it just shuts down, I don't know.

Jacob cheated on me. With his ex who he always told me not to worry about, of course.

The whole internet knew it. My friends knew it (even before me). Lando knows it. Does my dad know?

Wait...

The whole media knows it?!?

Frantically I was searching for my phone not being completely sure where I've put it but also... if it's a good idea to see what the media is saying about all this.

After I found my phone under the blanket I instantly saw many missed calls from several people and also text messages. But non of them actually being from the one person who hurt me, Jacob.

Scared of what I will find I go to google. I didn't even have to search for my name or Jacob's name of that matter because on the start page there were already breaking news.

"Jacob Elordi cheating on his girlfriend Adeline Stella- going back to his ex?!"

"Euphoria star Jacob Elordi seen kissing his ex- girlfriend Valentina Deven."

"Ex is better than the next? Jacob Elordi is back together with his ex after dating F1 daughter Adeline Stella"

"Adeline Stella seen crying heart broken after images of her boyfriend (Jacob Elordi) kissing his ex"

My mind was racing and my heart aches even more after I've seen all these articles. Subconsciously clicking on the last one my hand came up to my mouth in shock.

"After the news, that movie star Jacob Elordi kissed his ex girlfriend Valentina Deven and with that cheated on his current girlfriend Adeline Stella, Adeline was seen crying leaving a club with no other than F1 golden boy Lando Norris."

"These shocking pictures are still not mentioned by either the two of them and everyone wonders what actually happened.

Many fans think, that Jacob and Adeline weren't a good match anyway and most of them were secretly rooting for Jacob and Valentina.
However there is also Lando Norris in the picture, maybe he has something to do with this as well?
Or is it all Adeline's fault after all?

For more information we certainly have to wait for a statement of either of them. Expect the paparazzi will be faster this time..."

After reading the short comments in this post about me, Lando and the view of other people I felt sick. Like even more sick.

Abruptly standing up from the bed I rushed over to the toilet missing the little movement next to my bed. I don't know if it is because of the drinks I had yesterday, even though I only had a few or if it's really because this is all too much for me. Either way I am now bend over the toilet and spilling my guts out.

I tried to stop my long blonde hair from falling in there too but it is actually really hard to vomit and hold yourself together.

Suddenly I felt a hand in my neck tying all my hair together and holding it out of my face. I was so shocked that I actually managed to look up from the inside of the toilet. However all my worry flew away when I saw Lando standing next to me and still holding my hair.

"You good?" He just asks with a soft smile but still concern in his eyes.

"I'm perfect." obvious sarcasm in my tone as I answer his question.

Lando handed me a cloth to wipe my mouth free after he lets my hair fall back around my face messily.

"Why are you here? I mean more like how?" I ask once I was done cleaning my mouth up a bit.

"I uh... I didn't want to leave you alone but also didn't want to sleep in the same bed as you so... the chair is quite comfortable though which is surprising." Lando states like it's nothing to sleep in a god damn chair just because my boyfriend... sorry ex-boyfriend is an asshole.

"Lani..." I whisper feeling guilty now.
"You really didn't have to do that."

The boy shrugs with his shoulders.
"I know... but I wanted to anyway." He tells me while looking to his left in the mirror.

Relaxing against the bathtub I'm leaning against I close my eyes and take a deep breath.

"Did you see all the news?" I ask Lando still not opening my eyes being scared of what I will see kind of.

"Yeah... I've seen it a few minutes ago actually..." he answers me still in such a soft voice like I was a kid who he is talking to.

"I'm sorry you're being dragged into this all Lando." I finally say what's on my mind and open my eyes again only to see him staring at me with disbelieve written all over his face.

"Are you kidding me right now?" He asks me and I don't quite get what he means but before I can question him he continues.
"Your stupid dickhead of a boyfriend cheated on you and all you can do is apologize to me?!? Lin that's like the smallest of all the worries you should have. I don't care about being part of it now anyway." He tells me and comes down to sit next to me. His back just like mine resting against the bathtub.

"Maybe we should call your dad? Our plane will leave in like 5 hours..." my best friend asks me and I nod my head looking back at him and trying to show him a smile.

"Thank you... for everything yesterday and today...really thank you." I tell him sincere and resting my head on his shoulder tired and empty.

"No problem at all. For you always!" He whispers into my hair as he places a light kiss on top of my head.

Again a rather short chapter but I really don't want to let you guys hanging I just have a lot to do atm. (Not Proof read again lol)
