I fucking hated that man.
Not even a man after what he did.
A stupid childish boy who doesn't appreciate the things he has.
How could this guy cheat on Adeline.
On her?!?
She is the sweetest, funniest, prettiest, most talented and empathetic person he will ever meet and that Jacob guy just threw it all away...
For his ex!
Adeline, Andrea, Oscar, Liz and Me are currently on the plane to Miami where our next race will be in 2 weeks. Lin talked to her father and I saw how he hugged her tight and talked to her. I didn't hear what they said at all not wanting to indulge in their privacy.
I wanted to punch that guy in the face and I've never really been a violent guy. However, as I saw Adeline at that club last night I felt so much anger in every part of my body for hurting my best friend.
God I still can't believe he did that! If I ever see him I will show Jacob how much it hurts. (Just kidding...)
Addy told me, that she feels better again and just doesn't want to talk about it right now. I totally get that I just think that she should block that dickhead already. Unfortunately Addy still waits for a message from him.
I hope he doesn't write her ever again. He deserves to feel the loss he created for himself.
"Lando are you even paying attention?" Oscar asked me motioning with his open hand to the cards on my hand.
I have no real idea what we were even playing because I just can't concentrate on it. I just want to make sure Lin knows what to do and that I'm here for her.
"Actually not mate... can we start again I just need a quick break." I tell Oscar glancing over to Adeline sitting by the window looking at the clouds from above.
I think Oscar knew what I really want to do because he just nodded pressing his lips into a thin line and picking up the cards to shuffle again.
Liz and Lin were sitting from across each other. Oscar's girlfriend fast asleep and Lin sitting there with her legs pulled up to her knees.
"Hey, how ya doing?" I ask her once I approached the seats.
"Hi. I'm good." Lin lifts her head to look up at me and smiled the most softest and un-shiny-Addy- like smile I've ever seen.
I kneel down next to her so our eyes are at the same height.
"Addy I know you are waiting for a message or whatever from him but you should just block that dickhe- Jacob." I try to cover up and explain to her.
"No. Because I want to know." She says placing her head back on her knees.
"I need to know... if it was me..." she whispers so quite I almost didn't catch it but I did.
One thing absolut Adeline is, that she is the biggest people pleaser ever. Don't get me wrong it's not a bad thing at all especially with Lin buts sometimes... she just needs to take care of herself more and don't act according to the people around her.
"Lin it's not your fault at all... it's all him. And I swear he is just as stup-" I tell her reaching for her hand when all of a sudden her phone vibrates.
Adeline looked at her screen fast and I see the one name I hate flash across her phone.
Jacob
Adeline POV
Lando was right. I shouldn't wait for him to explain. Nothing will change the fact, that he cheated on me. However, I feel this need of some sort of validation, maybe that I'm not the problem after all.
My best friend went in with his speech and I was so close to listen to him when I noticed my phone dinging. Hurried I reach for the phone and saw his name.
Jacob.
I shot a quick glance to Lando and stood up from my chair to walk away for some privacy.
I am extremely nervous and I don't even know what to expect but I needed to talk to him.
So I took the call.
It was quite for a moment since I don't want to speak first but then
"Addy?" Jacob's voice rings from the other side of my phone. His tone sounded stressed but still collected in some type of way.
"Jacob." I state trying to talk with no emotions showing.
"Addy...I'm so so sorry about everything. I- that kiss didn't mean the things you think it did." He rushes out but I interrupted him.
"So it did mean something at least." I say. It wasn't a question, it was a statement.
"What?" The boy asks and he sounds actually confused.
"You just said "it didn't mean the things I think it did" so that means it meant something at least." I state again and I feel like I'm talking tk a child already.
"Yeah but- I mean no." He stutters out. I hear ruffing on the other side and I can just imagine that he is rushing his hand through his hair stressed.
"Jacob just stop it." I say in an edged tone. I have enough of his bullshit. He made a mistake and he can't even fix it -not that I would accept his apology- but it was shit.
"You cheated on me with you ex girlfriend and I don't tolerate shit like that. Even I have lines that should not be crossed. But you certainly did. We are not together anymore and please don't text me." I sneered out with gritted teeth trying my best not to cry again.
"But Addy I'm really truly sorry and I lo-" Jacob sounds desperate through the phone. Before he can finish those words I never want to hear from him again I stop him.
"Don't. Don't say that to me after cheating. You can now go back to her because I'm done!" I tell him my final words and end the call.

I know I know it took some time butttt finally a next chapter. It's rather short however this really took a long time to write since I didn't want to describe anyone's feelings in this bad so I took some time. 😔🤚
Also it's weekend tomorrow so hopefully I am able to write a new chapter than.😁
