Urahara x Reader (Bleach fanfic)

Background Info

Background:

Name : Y/n Izumi

Affiliation : Squad 9 Captain ( i kicked Tosen :D)

Squad 9 is known for being the Arts n Cultural division in the Gotei 13 , they handle the "Seireitei Bulletin" which i will be referring to . They are also the official Defense squad.

Appearance : 170 cm tall , other than that she is a blank slate , just normal captain haori and black shuhakusho.

Personality:

Seems carefree and aloof at times but is usually off scheming somewhere. She is sometimes playful but extremely sarcastic. She is resourceful and cunning.

Abilities:

She isn't physically strong like Yoruichi but she is average in terms of physical strength for a woman. To make up for her weakness in physical combat , she is a kido and Shunpo master.

Zanpakto: 
Its a water type kido zanpakto

Unreleased : just a unassuming katana with a navy blue tassel

Shikai:
Command : Flow Sui-O

At will, Sui-O (Zanpakuto's name) can change its shape into different weapon types to accommodate for her lack of physical strength and shows off her tactical prowess. Types include but are not limited to, Naginata Katana , bow , axe , dual-blade swords and threads .In this state , Zanpakto can release water slashes/ arrows.

Bankai:
Command :  水神の全能 Suijin no zen'nō (Water God's Omnipotence)

Y/n drops sword into the ground ,  medium-sized area surrounding reader and enemy becomes a pool of crystal clear water, water is feet deep.  Bankai allows reader to use shikai abilities with kido , creating extremely strong elemental enforced Kido. She is also able to construct bigger weapons that her shikai is unable to create though it well drain her alot.

Weakness : 

Once Bankai is activated , effect area is set, its like a medium area like urahara and kyoraku. Once either enemy or reader steps out of set area ,bankai effect deactivates. Water makes it difficult for allies to move around in it hence making it most effective for 1 v 1s. Suijin is corruptive, as it drains y/n's spiritual pressure, after awhile y/n might cut herself to release blood as a sacrifice to the suijin to use as a replacement for lost spiritual pressure .

I try my best to make her not overpowered cuz i feel like sometimes when writers make them overpowered it really kills the need for drama yk... let me know if she needs character conflict development or what not.

but its my first fan fic so idk pls do let me know if there are parts where you think can have improvement. I am aiming to do a more show than tell approach , i am just a lit student :( ... updates are expected but not warranted. After my national exams i can update more frequently but yea. I aim to give quality in due time hope you understand :).

If its cringe feel free to slit my jugular vein aka call me out cuz i really dw be cringe or cliche.
