Chapter 13 - Flashback

Samandar POV-

Flashback:

My hands were soaked in blood, her blood. When I saw her laying on the floor, I ran towards her. Blood was coming out of her stomach. Someone stabbed her in stomach. The knife was still in her stomach. I put her head in my lap and tried to talk to her. I took out the knife from her stomach and puts my hand on her wound.

Sahar..Sahar..open your eyes. What happened? Who did this to you?
- I asked her while crying, she was trying to say something but her mouth was full of blood.

Za...Zaa..Zaraar..he stabbed me.
- She said while choking on her own blood.

Whyy..what..what happened?
- I asked her.

Sorry, it's all...all my fault. I should have told you earlier. Hee..Zaraar..killed me..and..my....
- she choked again and closed her eyes forever.

Sahar..saharrr..open your eyess..Sahar..
- I screamed out loud in pain.

I lay her down on the ground and pick that knife in my hands and turned to Zaraar who was sitting on the ground not so far away from us.

You killed my wife..You killed her.
- I yelled in pain.

I'm so sorry. I didn't want to do that, but she was not listening to me.
- He said while standing up and he was trembling from fear.

Whyy??? Whyy you killed her..you were my friend..my only friend.
- I yelled again.

I ran towards him to kill him, but suddenly door opened and lots of policemen came and caught me, I struggled alot in their arms. I just wanted to kill him.
But they snatched the knife from my hand.

He killed her..and then he tried to kill me.
- Zaraar said to policemens.

He killed his wife..and then he tried to kill me..he killed his wife. He killed Sahar.
- He was yelling in front of policemen.

He's lying...he killed my wife..she told me by herself that he stabbed her. I'm going to kill you Zaraar.
- I yelled back.

Policemen caught me in place of Zaraar, because it was obvious. They saw me attacking Zaraar. Ambulance came and they started taking Sahar's body. I was sitting on the floor looking at her when they take her away. I was so helpless. I couldn't do anything to save her.

Police caught me and put me in jail. Yuvraaj came for help but he can't do anything because police said that they had proofs against me.
At the day of my court hearing, Zaraar testified against me. He said that he saw me killing Sahar.
He said that I used to beat Sahar. I used to torture her. LIAR!!!!

I married her just after we finished school. We were just 20 when we got married. I loved her that much. I didn't want to wait for finishing our studies.
I love her.

He gave false testimony, and cherry on top they found my fingerprints on the knife. Police and court didn't even listen to me. Zaraar planted proofs in such a way that no matter what I say, it all seems like a lie.

They sentenced me for killing my wife. I didn't kill her, I love her. I had lost all my courage now. They sentenced me for 7 years in jail for killing Sahar.
They put me in jail. Zaraar should have been in my place, he was the real culprit.

Yuraaj always be there on my side. I was so helpless but he was only one who gave me strength. Yuvraaj was Sahar's brother.
He always believed me that I didn't kill his sister. It was Zaraar who did this.

Did you find anything why Zaraar did that?
- I asked him when he come to meet me in jail.

No, but I'm going to kill him.
- he said in anger.

No. He is mine to kill. He is mine to destroy. I'm gonna take revenge for what he did. I'm gonna do the same to him.
- I said in anger.

Okay. I'll wait for you to come out. I'll keep an eye on him for you.
- He said.

Everyday I made new plans in my mind of how to destroy him. How can I gave him the pain in which I was in right now.

After 1 year ;

I was still in jail, I'm being punished for the crime, I never committed. I was burning in the fire of revenge. I made lots of contact in jail with lots of murderers, goons and every gang members of the jail. I only had one motive left..REVENGE.
But the only thing that I didn't understand..Why?
Why he killed her? Whyy??

Everyday Yuraaj gived every detail of him to me of what's he up to? What he's doing? He even told me when he got married.
He was living my life and here I am in jail.

One day I was in my cell when policeman came and said there is someone who wants to meet me. This whole year no one came to meet me except Yuvraaj. Then who was it?
I came out of my cell and goes to meeting room. I fisted my hands in anger when I saw him. I swear, if this glass wall was not there between us, he'd be dead in a minute.

What the fuckk you want now? Why are you here?
- I said while punching that glass wall.

I didn't mean to do that. It's just happened. Sahar was not listening to me. She was threatening me.
- Zaraar said.

Don't take her name from your filthy mouth.
- I yelled again.

I'm here to say Sorry. It was my mistake.
- He said again.

Why? Why did you do that? You were my friend.
- I asked.

I told you..it's just happened.
- he said while rubbing his head.

What happened?
- I asked again.

I'm here just to say sorry to you. Please forgive me. I didn't want to do that.
- He said and started leaving from there without even telling me why he did that.

Listen, Zaraar..One day, When I will get out from here. I'm coming for you and that day is going to be worst day for you. So, Be prepared.
I.WILL.NOT.FORGIVE.YOU.
I'm gonna take revenge from you.
- I said to him and then he left.

After that day, I started making my contacts with all types of goons, murderers..inside and outside the jail with the help of Yuvraaj. I became leader of small gangs and with time that gang started getting big.

After 7 years, I got out of the jail and became the worst mafia don, country ever had. Everyone started fearing from me. I became the most ruthless mafia don.
And this is because of Zaraar.
I always wanted to live a normal life with my wife. I wanted to have kids and grow old with her.
But now here I am the most cold-hearted, ruthless man.
