Chapter 19 : Voice of the voiceless.

Homelander had arrived back from a promo and mission he decided that he wanted to visit johnny. He went into his room and laid next to him. "You know kiddo even though you're you know... knocked out in a coma , I still enjoy talking to you ...Dollfa-I mean John jr." Homelander cradle Johnny's head in his arms and leans down and places a kiss on his lips.

"Your relationship with your son is not appropriate." Maeve walks in . She gently rubs Johnny's hair ." He's a good kid he does'nt deserve what you are doing or done to him." Homelander glares." He's my son , I can do whatever I want to him we are one ." Maeve scoffs." Yea right he favors her more than you that's why you're obsessed with him." Homelander laughs.

Whatever helps you sleep at night besides I like redheads just he does is that a conicidence?" Maeve responds." Yes it is everyone has a type and well... this you're doing to him is gross and sick do you think he'll ever love or even like you ?" Homelander walks to Queen Maeve." Now listen here I don't care what you think but he's my son he has to love me ." Maeve smirks." Then why did he try to escape and to keep him ,you broke his spine so what does that say ?" Homelander gets up and his tone gets darker.

"You need to get the hell out of my penthouse. NOW!!" Maeve gets and goes for the door before she leaves she turns . "I would give kid back to his Adoptive parents before you dig a deeper hole with butcher or the law ." Maeve leaves . Homelander goe and prep a needle and lays back down next to Johnny . He begins hear whimpering and silent sobs.

Johnny opens his eyes and he tries to move but Homelander stops him ." Nope , Now,now kiddo it's too early for you to wake up do Daddy a favor yeah?" Homelander sticks the needle in Johnny arm . "Go back to sleep."

Soon the surgery started they repaired Johnny's vocal cords and fixed his spine by setting it back in place and a metal plate to hold it together . Homelander oversaw the whole operation . The nurse handed him a bottle of pills ." Sir make sure he takes these." Homelander raises his eyebrow. "Why is there something wrong with pain killers." The nurse shakes her head." No , it's for the thing you spoke to the doctor about ."

Homelander nods ." Oh that ok got ya, so is he doing?" The nurse smiles." He should be ok though with time he will be able to walk ." Homelander thanks her as she leaves. He goes back to Johnny's room qnd looks at him laying unconsious. "I think it's time you woke up ." Take a needle and jabs it in johnny and soon his eyes shoot open." D....aa...Dad ?" Homelander smiles.

"I knew would come around ." Johnny looks around ." Where's my Dad ...how am I talking ?" Homelander glares." William is gone I told you ,you're mine ." Johnny looks down . Homelander sits next to him." So... I have an question to ask you , do you remember what happpend?"

Johnny tears up and looks away ." I want my Dad." Homelander pats his back ." Be a Good boy , take this pill and I'll fix you something to eat and then you,get to come out of the room and take tour around Vought towers ." Johnny nods ." Okay ." Homelander kisses him and walks away.

Billy had to stay away from johnny knowing that he needed him, it was for his own good due to Homelander pinning the death of stillwell on him and raynor's death . Grace Mallory said that she'd see if what she could do.

So the team has been laying low . Knowing Becca is still alive gave more motivation to fight for his family nothing won't stop him not even Vought, US government ,and Homelander .

Homelander is pushing johnny around in the wheelchair showing him different departments. Soon Johnny see Becca's old office and he frowns. Homelander notice ,see where he brought him." Too early sorry kiddo." Homelander fake apologizes. Johnny glares. "No you're not ." Homelander kneels to eyelevel. "Now I had it with you, being sad, and depress...you really know how to ruin the mood. Johnny folds his arms." It's called having feeings ,part of being human." Homelander shakes his head.
