I was woken up at 6:30 in the morning to Cooper and Nick jumping on my bed and popping confetti canons, i couldn't help but laugh.
"it's the drop day!!" cooper cheered like a little boy, "okay okay! let me get up!" i squealed trying to push them off.
nick bowed down to me opening his arms for me to walk as if i was the queen. giggling i walked downstairs to balloons, streamers, and the countdown to the drop on the TV.
"oh my god, you guys, you really didn't have to do all of this"
Cooper walked over to me with his hand on my shoulder, "you deserve to be celebrated"
"coffee orders!" Nick sung out, we both turn to face him, he had put on an apron and held a coffee handle in his hand.
"Cooper don't talk i already know yours, but the majesty here, what is the preferred coffee?" he bowed to me again
laughing i said "hmm surprise me" he raised his eyebrows and got to brewing the coffee.
"oh and we are going out tonight so make sure you dress up nicely okay?" Cooper said, narrowing his eyes at me.
"are you saying i don't dress up nicely" i laughed at him.
shortly after, we finish our coffees and watch the reviews of the new song blast on. "oh my god, they love it" i smile, feeling a huge sense of pride
"it's amazing, how could they not?" nick said across from me, my heart fluttering at his compliment.
"you should be proud em, it's really something special" Cooper said smiling.

i pat down my dress, taking a deep breath as i look at myself in the mirror. i'm wearing a maxi black satin dress, i leave my hair down and have light makeup on.
i walk out and cooper wolf whistles as i walk down the stairs, giggling, i do a little spin, i looked over to Nick who is leaning against the bench smiling at me.
heat starts to creep up onto my face, i look down fiddling with my purse before i look up at Cooper. "we ready?"
we all jump into the uber that pulls up shortly after, Cooper had already been drinking which let do a lot of terrible singing in the car, and don't get my started on his dancing.
the restaurant was beautiful, we were sat outside in a booth which included a dance floor, a band, beautiful fairy light and hanging plants. i haven't seen a more gorgeous restaurant.
i was sitting against the wall on one side facing Cooper, "i'm so proud of emmmm" cooper says, wiping a fake tear. "are you already drunk?" i ask laughing at my bestfriend
Cooper held his hand to his chest pretending he was offended and scoffed, Nick walked over with the drinks, sitting next to me.
he passed me a drink smiling at me, i grabbed it skimming his fingers which sent a shiver up my spine, i quickly sipped the drink which im pretty sure was pure alcohol.
after some food and 6 drinks later, we were all on the dance floor busting our horrible moves. Cooper ended up dancing with some random dude, sharing a couple of kisses, leaving Nick and i alone dancing together
as the band start to play "These Days" by Powderfinger, i looked around to see everyone swaying to the music close together. Nick grabbed my waste and pulled me closer to him
i slung my arms over his shoulders laughing. Nick leant down to my ear, "you look so fucking beautiful tonight" i bite my lip, he pulled back and smiled down at me, "you look pretty good yourself" he wiggled his eyebrows at me. i can't remember how long we were dancing together, just looking at one another, not breaking a smile.
Cooper comes running over, almost knocking us down. "we have to go! he has a boyfriend!" he tells, laughing at him, the three of us quickly get out of the restaurant and make our way home.
