The next few days passed without any awkwardness between them. In fact, things seemed almost normal-except for the occasional glances Felix and Rachel exchanged when they thought the other wasn't looking. There was a new layer to their friendship now, one they both acknowledged but weren't ready to fully explore just yet.
A week later, during one of their group hangouts, Rosé and Jennie couldn't help but notice how much more relaxed Felix seemed around Rachel.

"So," Rosé said casually, sipping her drink, "did you guys ever have that talk?"
Rachel blushed, exchanging a glance with Felix, who grinned sheepishly.
"What talk? " Rachel asked teasing.
"Stop acting Rachy!" Said Rosé.
"Finee" Rachel admitted.
"And?" Jennie pressed, raising an eyebrow.
"We're taking things slow," Felix answered. "We talked about how we feel, but we're not rushing into anything."
Rosé smiled approvingly. "That's probably for the best. No need to force anything."
Jennie nodded. "As long as you're both happy, that's all that matters."
Rachel and Felix exchanged another look, and this time, there was a shared understanding in their eyes. They didn't know what the future held, but they knew they had each other-and that was enough for now.
As the night went on, the group laughed and joked like usual, but Rachel couldn't help but feel a little different. Sitting beside Felix, knowing how he felt, made her heart flutter in a way she hadn't expected.
Maybe, just maybe, their story was only beginning.
