The next morning, I found myself standing in front of the company building. I took a deep breath before stepping inside. The lobby was clean and quiet, almost too quiet for how fast my heart was beating.

I approached the reception desk and handed over my ID card. The receptionist, whose name tag read "Kim Jiwon," processed it with a friendly smile. Her name was pretty, I thought.

After sliding my ID through the scanner, she pointed me toward the elevator. I nodded, thanking her, and waited as the elevator doors slowly opened.

I arrived on the floor where Enhypen’s dance studio was located. Nervous was an understatement for what I was feeling. Just then, I spotted a group ahead—a girl and two guys. The girl noticed me standing frozen and called out.

"Hey, you!"

Startled, I turned toward her. The group paused, watching as I walked over.

The girl smiled warmly. "You're really pretty. Are you a new trainee?"

I let out an awkward laugh at the sudden compliment—I wasn’t a stranger to comments like that, but it still caught me off guard. Shaking my head, I returned the smile. "No, I work here. It’s actually my first day."

She nodded, glancing at my ID. "Im Haeni, huh? Your name’s just as pretty."

One of the guys chimed in, "Stop making her uncomfortable, Yuna. I’m Taeyang. We’re all choreographers for Enhypen. You’ve heard of them, right?"

My eyes widened as I tilted my head in surprise. "Well, guess you'll have to welcome me to the team because I am too!"

Yuna’s face lit up. "Oh my god, really? I need another girl in this team! These two are SO boring."

The second guy chuckled and threw his arm around Taeyang. "Welcome aboard! I’m Sungjin."

I smiled, feeling the nervousness begin to melt away. Yuna grabbed my arm playfully. "Come on, I’ll give you the grand tour. Enhypen won’t be here for a while. We always come in earlier than the idols, so you have time to get to know us!"

She led me down the hall to the dance studio, chatting excitedly. When she pushed open the doors, I was stunned. The room was huge, gleaming under the lights—a dancer’s dream.

"I’ve always dreamed of being in a room like this!" I exclaimed, running inside and spinning in circles, unable to contain my joy.

Yuna laughed, joining in and hugging me. "Enjoy it while it lasts! You’ll get tired of it soon enough."

We both burst into laughter, and for a moment, I felt like everything was going to be okay.
