Adelaide's POV~
I could hear voices in the living room which woke me up and I couldn't get back to sleep. I got up, pulled on an oversized t-shirt and shoved my hair into a messy bun. I slowly opened the door and saw that there were three people on the sofa
"Good morning" I said making Louis and Aria turn around
"Oh..erm.. Morning" they both stuttered
"What's up with you two" I laughed and the third person turned around, my face dropped as I saw Luke sat on the sofa, I screamed and tears started rolling down my face. Louis and Aria came over
"Shush, calm down" they said, aria hugging me
"He's dead! Why is he sat on the sofa! He's dead" I cried "my brain is messed up, I'm seeing things" I said to Louis
"No sweetie, it's Luke, why don't you come and sit down" Aria replied, they helped me walk to the sofa and I sat down, I couldn't stop looking at Luke.
"Adelaide I've missed you so so much, you don't understand" he walked towards me but I moved away. He sat down and explained the story about how he got stuck in France for three months working for money to get back. I didn't believe him at first but then he rang someone called Harry who said it was true and an airline who agreed as well and to be fair we never knew he was actually dead as we never found his body
"I can't believe it's actually you" I had to take some time to get used to Luke being back but I was so happy but also scared, I didn't want to get dressed but Aria made me. I put on some blue jeans and a white top, I went into the living room and stood there until Luke came over. Aria was next to me and she was holding my hand tightly, as Luke turned around she whispered in my ear
"You can do this, just tell the truth" I breathed in and Luke looked at me
"What!" He sounded surprised but i wasn't sure if It was a good or bad surprise "your pregnant!" A tear fell out of my eye and down my cheek
"Yes" I took a deep breath
"But it's not yours" I felt more and more tears escape my eyes
"Who's is it, is it Calum's, do you have a new boyfriend?" His face dropped and I couldn't reply so Aria spoke for me
"No, she got a bit drunk one night and a guy took advantage of her, she didn't get hurt and she has had a lot of support" Aria explained, Luke came over and pulled me into a hug, I really missed his hugs
"Where does this guy live then" he said calmly but i I could hear the anger in his voice
"No, your not going over, he doesn't know and it's over now, it was long ago"
"But no one takes advantage of you and gets away with it" he looked at me
"Well it's over and I'm fine" I hugged him "I'm just glad your home and safe, with me"
"Wait, you wanna be with me still?"
"Yes, if you will take me... and the baby" he smiled
"Of course I will, I will be the best dad I can be" I smiled and kissed him, I had missed Luke so much, I didn't think I'd ever get to kiss him again.
Luke's POV~
Seeing Adelaide again was so amazing, when I saw she was pregnant I have to say I was a little shocked especially when I found out it wasn't mine, I was obviously going to be there for her though because I love her. We were all watching tv and Adelaide was lay on me
"Lukey" she looked up at me
"Yeah" I laughed at her giving me puppy dog eyes
"Can you grab me a drink" she smiled and I nodded. I went into the kitchen and stood by the sink for a while, thinking about how much my life will change in 7 months. After a few more minutes of thinking I went back into the living room and handed Adelaide her drink. We watched tv for about an hour
"Luke, how's your mum?" Louis asked not looking away from the tv
"Shit" I jumped up making Adelaide jump
"What's wrong" he asked me
"I've not gone over, I better go" I grabbed my jacket and ran out
"Bye" I heard Adelaide shout as I shut the door. There was a taxi just about to leave so I quickly knocked on the window making the driver stop. I hoped in and told him to take me to my mums. It was about a 20 minute drive to get there and once the taxi stopped I paid him and went to the front door. I knocked and waiting a minute before my mum opened the door on the phone
"Erm.. Sorry, I'm going to have to call you back" she hung up straight away not letting the person on the other end answer "Luke" she gave me a weird look and then slammed the door. I stood there for a moment before the door reopened
"Mum" I hugged her but she didn't hug back. She moved away and looked at me
"Luke?" Her eyes were watery now and she was just so shocked
"Can I come in" I asked, she moved over to let me through, I went into the living room and sat at my usual chair, my mum following. She sat down and just stared at me
"W..w..what's going on" she said
"I just came to see you, I missed you" I smiled
"But the crash, the funeral, what?" I could tell she was confused. I explained about France and a tear fell out of her eye
"I thought you were dead, why didn't you contact us?" She asked, more tears forming "i thought my baby was dead"
"Well I tried to but you didn't answer and Louis sold the apartment so"
"Oh, that weird number was you, I thought it was some random stranger" we talked for a bit longer and we hugged properly "It's so good to have you back" she said while hugging me
"It's so good to finally be back" we hugged for a while until i said I better go to Arias, I was staying there tonight as i had no apartment and my mum had changed my old bedroom into an art studio. Aria was still trying to persuade Adelaide to move in with her as she had a spare room but she said her parents wouldn't let her, her parents don't even know that we are together yet, but I think we're both going to tell them soon, about our relationship and about Adelaide's baby.
