"I really hope you like it!", she repeated, standing in the kitchen and fiddling with the salad servers. She nimbly placed a large coaster on the counter. "Please set the table with knife and fork, because it's a French dish and we should eat it the French way!" she explained to him.

The French way?!

Yuzuru had just calmed down a bit, and now her statement made him blush like a pubescent boy again. Fortunately, she had already turned her attention to the meal preparations, and he quickly took dishes and cutlery from the cupboards and drawers and set the dining table as she had instructed.

Hanyū, what are you thinking about again! Get over yourself, she didn't mean it the way you imagined! The French way...

He didn't get a chance to pursue the thought any further, because she came towards him with a huge, steaming casserole dish.

"Put the coaster on the table, please," she pointed with her chin to the counter where the coaster lay ready, and Yuzuru fetched it, as if remote-controlled.

She placed the casserole on the coaster. "Now for the salad" and she went back into the kitchen. She was now wearing a dress again, made of light blue viscose, which emphasized her figure a little. Was she doing it on purpose to tease him?

She put the salad bowl on the table. "I'm curious to see if you like it!" she interrupted his wild thoughts, sitting down. "Itadakimasu!"

The food was delicious, simply delicious. Going through the mail had done little to help Yuzuru regain his composure. But now his senses were at least somewhat distracted and occupied with something else, namely the excellent taste of this French fish casserole with green salad, olives and tomatoes.

He wasn't particularly fond of foreign cuisine, he was just too picky and didn't even like to try many things, but this dish was excellent! She had cleverly brought the fish into play, making it easier for him to get used to and enjoy the unfamiliar taste.

"So?" she asked him curiously.
"Oishii!" Yuzuru was delighted.

Ayame laughed with relief and was just happy that her little experiment had been a success and that the excursion into French cuisine had fallen on fertile ground.
Now she could calmly change the subject, as he had seemed a little nervous when he returned home. She hoped that nothing had happened with his family.

"How was it with your parents?" she wanted to know.

Yuzuru admired her more and more. There was nothing in her behavior to suggest that just a few minutes ago she had been standing in the laundry room in a very intimate moment, completely devoted to her lustful sensations... she seemed very calm and balanced.

She must really have been in the shower and... Hanyū! Not those pictures again!

Yuzuru's pulse beat faster again and he had trouble concentrating on her question.

"Good... good", he stammered, only to pull himself together immediately afterwards and get back on track. "Mother wanted to know how our everyday life has developed", he began.

Ayame looked at him and seemed a little anxious. "I told her that things are going very well and that I feel very comfortable since you've reorganized everything so well," he added quickly. She breathed a noticeable sigh of relief.

"I'm glad you think so," she said with relief.

"Of course I am! I haven't felt this good for a long time. And Toshiro also just confirmed yesterday that I'm feeling better," he smiled at her. "You've really given me a good basis to recover and get back to my old strength."

She knew he meant it sincerely.

"And that's why," he took a verbal running start, "I want to ask you for something!"
"Um... yes? I'll be happy to do what I can, Yuzuru!" she looked a little unsettled.

He hadn't meant to do that!

"No, no... don't worry, Ayame! It's nothing bad, at least I hope so...", now he was a little unsettled. But no, she had really liked his programs that she had seen yesterday. That had become clear. So why should it be bad for her to accompany him to the ice rink now?

He plucked up his courage and asked her openly:
"Would you do me the honor of accompanying me to the ice rink later this afternoon?"
