Champa and Beerus agree to hold a tournament on the Nameless Planet, a neutral location between Universe 6 and Universe 7. Goku suggests using World Martial Arts Tournament rules: fighters lose if they surrender, fall out of the ring, or kill. Vegeta adds that no weapons or enhancements should be allowed. Both gods agree, and the tournament is set for five days later.
As Champa and Vados leave, Champa expresses confidence in winning, unaware that Goku and Vegeta were training in gravity suits. Goku and Vegeta prepare to fight, determined to win against Universe 6. Beerus informs them they can only choose one more fighter for their team, as he will personally choose the last two members. Goku and Vegeta agree, while admittedly confused on the people whom Beerus would choose, neither the less decided to wait and see who would even be worthy of Beerus decision as they should head back to earth and figure out the best last spot for the team and train for the challenge.
During the night within Earth, the god of destruction and his attendant and angel, Whis was dining with the two Saiyan's, Goku and Vegeta with Vegeta wife there, Bulma. Having their fair share of delicious course of meals. Bulma being only a human ate hardly anything compared to the other's.
Whis: Mhm! That beef stew was divine~! Earth's bountiful delicacies never cease to satisfy my palate!
Beerus: Yees, that is why I refuse to lose earth to Champa. That was excellent!
He happily spoke with eating multiple full course meals as he leaped in the air and decided to use Ki and float in the air, clearly not walk after being full.
Whis: Now then, I'm afraid that we really must be getting back. Obviously, we still have to tell the other two about the competition so they can prepare.
Goku: Whoa, hold on... Who's are these people that Beerus choose? They got to be super strong!
Whis: Oh, he didn't tell you? Well the best word that even I can describe them is well being Unique.
Goku: Woah!
Beerus: You and Vegeta will fill the remaining single slots and let me know when you're done. You got that?
Goku: Wait, these two you know, are they... strong? Come on, tell me.

With a single yell of anger and annoyance at the Saiyan constant jabbering about these people whom he chosen to fight along for this universe for the tournament, Goku flee off the roof top while screaming 'Sorry!'.
Few seconds passes before Goku appear back at the table to notice Vegeta had used napkins in his ears and had been covering a confused Bulma ears from hearing the sonic yell, pretty much the same of Champa scream.
