Chapter 56: Realisation

"Berlin! Seoul!" Palermo screamed, while panting as now he knew Gandía was going after Nairobi first, as he was following all along what the gang had talked about.

He knew she was out there somewhere. So the first thing he'd do is look for her.

Nairobi was his first target for now, since she's the weakest one. The one who almost lost their life.

Seoul's head was resting on Nairobi's bed, while holding her hand, caressing it, thinking about the promise she made with her.

"S-Seoul." Nairobi look over at Seoul, struggled to speak.

Seoul couldn't believe it. Nairobi was alive. Her best friend was okay. "Oh shit! You're okay!" She was so relieved, she looked so happy.

Nairobi gave her a smile, her voice was low. "Palermo." Was her first word that came out of her mouth that was all she could say.

"Palermo?" Seoul questioned, looking so confused, as what she meant by Palermo. "What do you mean, Nairobi?"

"SEOUL!" Palermo yelled out her name as he got frustrated, he wasn't even bothered to call for Berlin, but also because he expected Seoul to be with Nairobi.

"Oh, well that doesn't sound good." Seoul got up. "Please, watch Nairobi." She asked the hostage who used to be a nurse.

"Yes, of course." She gave Seoul a warm smile. "How are you feeling Nairobi?" She asked her.

"I-I'm okay, Paquita. Thank you so much for being here." Nairobi gave her a warm smile.

Seoul grabbed her two guns and ran downstairs. "Palermo, what the fuck is going on? Why are you yelling?" She asked him, but then she saw a hostage was missing.

Gandía.

"No, no, no. Fuck!" She said. "Rio, where the fuck is Gandía?!" She knelt down to his height, as Rio was on his knee staring at the wall.

He wouldn't say anything to her. "Rio!" Seoul hit him on the arm. "Where did Gandía go?"

"Upstairs." Was the only thing Rio could say, as he was staring at the staircase, he was completely blank.

"Okay mastermind, figures out a hostage is missing. Now can you untie me?" Palermo said.

"Did you learn your lesson?" She asked.

"Yes, I did."

"Great, good Palermo." She quickly walked over to Palermo and untied him. "Here grab my gun." As Seoul had always two guns with her.

"Gracias, muchacho." Palermo got up.

Seoul pulled out her walkie-talkie. "Everyone get your asses downstairs to the lobby. Gandía has escaped." She sounded stressed.

"Why the fuck didn't you shoot him?" Seoul got annoyed and raised her voice at Rio.

"I couldn't do it..." Rio was sweating.

Seoul didn't say anything but squeezed her fists and narrowed her eyes.

As everyone was downstairs at the lobby. Berlin separated the gang in small groups. "Stockholm and Denver stay here. If we're a lot more in trouble then we are. I need you two to be ready."

The two nodded. "Everyone! I need all of you to stay at the left side now!" Stockholm yelled.

"Rio you stay here down with Stockholm and Denver. You look like a drug dealer." Berlin chuckled.

"That was uncalled for." Seoul hit his arm as he did get drugged by the police, while he was captured.

"Helsinki, Tokyo and Palermo. You two start looking for Gandía whatever you do blow his head off or else we're going to be corpses. Bogotá stay with Nairobi the hostage upstairs can't shoot Gandía."

"Seoul with me." He said, as he needed Seoul close to him no matter what he couldn't risk her not being close to him.

Meanwhile for Nairobi she heard a voice, which wasn't the gang but Gandía's. "Mutt."

He said and grabbed a pillow over her face to try to kill her, by making her not breathe.

Nairobi started to panic and managed to grab a needle and stab him multiple times with it.

Tokyo heard beeping from her small screen where she could see Nairobi's pulse. "Something is wrong with Nairobi."

"He's probably with her right now!" Palermo said and started running everyone else did too.

"Nairobi we're coming!"

As soon they got to the office where she was staying in Nairobi was coughing a lot. The hostage came and helped her to breathe again.

"Nairobi! Nairobi, are you okay?" Tokyo went over to her.

"Nairobi. It's okay. It's okay. Breathe." Helsinki rubbed her head. "It's okay."

"Bogotá." Palermo called his name. "Bogotá!"

Bogotá just stared at Palermo, waiting for him to speak.

"Stay with Nairobi, if that egghead comes back, you kill him. Is that clear?" Palermo said.

"Yes."

"Helsinki, Tokyo with me! We don't have time for this."

"What a shit show." Seoul said as she was ready to shoot, she was walking slowly forward.

Berlin was walking backwards. "We should've killed him sooner."

"Yes, but now we know once we see him we kill him." She said.

"Wasn't it best if I went with the others?" Seoul asked.

"Why is that, darling? You don't want to be with your husband? You know why I partnered you up with me, right?" He said. "Well, I need you to stay close to me, I need to protect you."

"You know I can protect myself, silly." She chuckled.

"I'm being serious. The ones he probably wants to kill first is probably us. We're the most powerful ones in the gang and Palermo, not only that but he knows you're my weakness, cariño."

"I understand. But at point there will be a time during this heist where we've going to be apart. Never know what could happen." Seoul said.

While the two were trying to search for Gandía from their walkie-talkie Palermo said. "Berlin, Seoul! Gandía tried killing Helsinki just now."

"Where are you?" Berlin asked.

"Library. He escaped, we don't know where he is." Palermo sighed.

"How's Helsinki?" Seoul asked.

"He's having trouble with breathing, he's resting on my lap right now."

"Meet us in the office where Nairobi is." Berlin ordered them.
