Karishma was laying on her bed, her college was over so she was at her mother's house. Looking at the picture of the girl, she met at the lift, when someone knocked on her door, she kept her phone aside. Her mother entered into the room.
"Krishu, khana taiyar ho gaya hai, aa jao." Veena (her mother) informed her.
"Ji hum aa rahe hain." Karishma said.
Veena took out a paper and forward it to Karishma.
"Yeh kya hai?"
"Police exam ka form." Karishma looked at her mother with surprised face," Tumhara kamra saaf karte waqt tumhari diary gir gayi thi, usme se ek poster mila tha, samajh gayi thi ki tumhe police officer banna hai."
"Par papa chahte hain ki hum unki company join karen."
"Tum unki chinta mat karo, woh samajh jayenge, tum bas woh karo Jo tumhara dil chahe." Veena said.
Karishma smiled and hugged her mother," Thank you maa."
"Bas ek baat yaad rakhna Jo bhi karo pure dil se karo, kisi baat ka malal mat rakhna apne andar."
Karishma nodded.
After six months
Karishma stood at the academy's gate, looking at the building infront of her. Her dream of becoming police officer was finally going to be true.
She checked which room was allocated to her.
"Room no. 142, Haseena Malik?" Karishma read her new roommate's name, then shrugged it off.
After knowing her room number, she headed towards the room.
She opened the door, and set her stuff in one side, then decided to visit the academy.
She locked the door, and walked through the corridor when a girl, coming from the other side, passed her.
Karishma glanced at her and moved on but then realisation hit her. She turned around and saw the same girl, she was searching for over a year, is standing infront of her room.
Karishma covered her mouth to hold her excitement," Haseena Malik? She is the one."
She took out her phone and called Shivani.
"Hello, tum believe nahi karogi, kya hua?"
"Aisa kya ho gaya?" Shivani asked.
"Woh jo ladki thi, Haseena, woh is waqt humare samne hai."
"Kya baat kar rahi hai?"
"Haan, aur woh aaj se humari roommate bhi hai." Karishma almost shouted,"Hum abhi use propose kar dete hain."
"Haan, kar de, agar usne tujhe reject kar diya to ho sakta ki woh tujhse baat bhi na kare."
"Magar woh hume reject kyun karegi?"
"Tu kya kahin ki Yukti Kapoor hai, jo tujhe dekhte hi fida ho jayegi tum par?" Shivani said," Abhi thoda time bita uske sath, use jaan, fir sahi waqt par propose karna."
"Bahut time lagega usme." Karishma said with a disappointment.
"Itna intezar kiya hai na uska, to thoda aur sahi."
"Thik hai, hum intezar karenge uska."

"Jab tumhe pehli baar dekha to tumhare is khoobsurat chehra par lattu ho gaye the, man kiya ki usi waqt tumhe apna bana len, lekin ab achha lag raha hai tumhara intezar karna, tumhe janana, tumhe roj aise hi dekhna. Har roj yeh ummid lagana ki ek din aayega jab tum bhi hume utna hi chahne lagogi jitna hum tumhe chahte hain." Karishma kept adoring sleeping Haseena, till sleep didn't engulfed her.
