"Haseena....Haseena utho!"
Haseena a little as someone shaking her, she rubbed her sleepy eyes and found the person is none other than Karishma.
"Aap itni raat ko kyun jagi hui hain, is waqt to sirf ullu jagte hain." Haseena said while yawning," Oo achha...aap apne sathiyon ko company de rahi thi."
Karishma rolled her eyes in annoyance.
"Aadhi raat nahi hai abhi chaar baj rahe hain." Karishma struggled to keep her awake.
Haseena let out a sleepy groan," To hume kyun utha rahi hain aap?" Her voice carried a hint of annoyance.
"Tumhen kuch dikhana hai." Karishma said this time with a calm smile," Chalo."
Haseena, with no option left, walked with Karishma, despite her eyelids protesting.
The sky was still pitch dark, with stars twinkling. It was night of new moon, so only light they have was of the torch, in absence of the lunar light.
"Hum ja kahan rahe hain?" Haseena asked while trying her best to avoid tripping over any stone.
"Thoda patience rakho na." Karishma replied without turning back. Haseena suppressed the urge of break her head with a rock, and continued walking.
After sometime, the darkness of the night was beginning to subside a little, the stars started to getting fade. Haseena heard a faint sound of running water. Now curiosity took place of annoyance.
With each step, the sound of water got louder. She understood that there must be a waterfall nearby. As they reached near the waterfall, they were completely mesmerized by the view.
The water cascaded down, creating a breathtaking spectacle of sound and sight. The mist enveloped them, casting a cool veil over their skin. The air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers and earthy smell of damp soil.
Soon enough, the sun began to rise from behind the hills, casting a warm glow over the scene. The sky transform into a canvas of pink, pitch and orange. The sunlight caught the water droplets, creating a miniature rainbow.
Karishma's attention shifted from the waterfall's breathtaking view to a quieter yet equally captivating and beautiful. Haseena's face, glowing in the soft morning radiance.
Haseena felt her stare and looked at her. Their eyes met and for a moment, time seemed to stand still. The roar of the waterfall, the chirping of birds and the warmth of the sun, all faded into the background as they locked gazes.
Haseena felt something in Karishma's eyes, something she didn't understand but it was very deep and pure. Something that didn't allow her to look away.
Karishma could hear her own heartbeat, her heart was pounding loudly as if it want to came out of the chest. She wanted to say something but she couldn't form right words.
It was as if Haseena read her mind and asked softly," Karishma! Aapko kuch kahna hai?"
Karishma stared into her eyes as if searching something. Her heart yell to tell her that how much Karishma love her, that she love her even since before Haseena know her, and everyday the love got stronger than previous day.
As soon as she started looking for right words, her logical side of mind threw a counter attack. What if Haseena didn't feel the same? What if she reject her? What if she broke the friendship with her and never talk again? Even if she will not break the friendship, their bond will never be the same. And Karishma can't afford that.
