Chapter 32

After finally thinking it over Petrov submits to Rolands proposition, specially after seeing how much Border Town had changed and how prosperous it can become

Roland: The new city shall have all the four great families, and all the nobles of the western region, that are willing to accept these conditions. You may call a banquet in the fortress and spread my words. 

Petrov: Are you asking me to pass on the message to them?

Roland: Ye, you will be my ambassador this time. 

Petrov: Yes, your highness. 

After the meeting Roland decides to take a walk through the garden only to realise that the plants are bigger than supposed, and how it looks like hes walking through a single gigantic organism until he finds Wendy, Paper, Tilly, Andrea and Tanya sitting inside a little organictent area 

Wendy: Your highness, we are here.

Roland walks into the tent

Tanya: Leaf's powers have evolved, she's now become the garden. 

Roland: I hope that she can reverse it! 

Leaf:*Through rustle of leaves and branches* Once the ability is removed, I can return to normal. 

Roland asks if Leaf can hear them and she responds she can not only hear them but smell and touch everything that happens inside the garden, she also explains that it's hard to control this and she would need time to slowly grow in something like the lost forest 

After Roland seeing Papers ability of molecular speed manipulation he goes back to his office

Meanwhile Ferlin was shopping with Irene when he noticed Agatha passing by remembering he saw a portrait of her in his house and so confusing her to an ancestor so he went beck to his house

While walking to his dad's reading room, Ferlin passes through that painting of Agatha 

He then talks to his dad and he goes down the trophy room to get some precious magic stones, with this the Eltek family pick up the stones and take them to the castle

Meanwhile in the castle Roland introduced the first modern heating system in the world and the lesson on the production of Nitrogen Gas

While on the wall inspection a massive humanoid demonic beast appears to attack the wall's defense

Soldier 1: What in the gods is that hellspawn

Soon the artillery fires and the humanoid dodges

Soldier 2: It missed! Shit! 

But then it was easily killed by Tanya's artillery spell 

Soldier 3: We killed it! 

Soldier 1: Even though we weren't the ones that killed it, still counts! 

The soldiers hug one another of happiness and chant "Long live his highness" 

Later Roland and Agatha 

Agatha: That's impossible! Isn't this a hellspawn fearsome beast? 

Roland: What's that, a type of hybrid beast? They've appeared in the fertile plain region before? 

Agatha: Yes, they are a formidable threat when they appear in groups, whether they're fighting witches or demons. Quite a few towns were flattened by the hellspawn fearsome beasts, but they only appear as the bloody moon itself is close to appearing. As you know the bloody moon sgnigies the start of every Battle of Divine will, and magic power surges when it appears. While it does bring a peak of new witches awakening, demons and demonic beasts also gain a surge of strength. I've analyzed the record book you gave to me, and from the year, I estimated that it should've been another 20 to 50 years until the next bloody moon. It should be impossible for these monsters to appear. 

Roland: But they're here, so what does it mean? 

Agatha: It means we don't have much time. Five years at most. 

Roland: Thank god- Ahem, sorry about that. 

Agatha: You think 5 years is a long time? The first and second battle of divine will both followed the same time pattern. But now it' sooner, and... Our time could shrink even further. 

Roland: I thought you were going to say the bloody moon would arrive this year, but with my 5 year plan, our land, population, and resources will all develop drastically. In addition the development of tactic and planning would allow us to temporarily retreat when necessary to preserve vitality. At the moment the main goal is to construct two or three industrial cities, to provide a constant source of soldiers, weapons, and food for our forces. Our resources will guarantee victory, and our people will provide those resources, so in the end it looks like education and employment needs rapid development. Hey if we can fill the town with weapons like this one before the bloody moon arrives, we might have a chance at defending against the demons. 

Agatha: Here.

Roland: Hm? 

Agatha: From what Kyle Sichi said, the stuff I'm making in the laboratory is part of the cannon, right? Then I'll do my best to provide liquid nitrogen and oxygen, just please-

Roland: Don't worry, we will defest the demons. 

At the church's dungeon

Mayne goes get Zero and Mayne ends up in the battle of souls and loses so Zero becomes the new pope

Back to the Eltek family they went to talk to Roland and give their treasure back to Agatha in the boxes they find rhe Sigil of God's will! 

And Anna accidentally turns it on and almost destroy's the office, in the dinning/meeting room everyone from the witch union try the Sigil 

Roland then plans on building a small shack for Agatha and Agatha explains on how to make special magical stones 

The next day Roland was launching the newest ship of Border Town, specially made to load and unload troops 

Meanwhile Lightning and Maggie hunt for animals in the forest and they find two Demons currently heading to the city wall 

And Lightning decided to fight them head on 

With that Lightning heads to the position of the demons with her gun ready, and when they get to where they are and dive, Lightning killing both demons but without Maggie almost dying from inhaling the red mist, they then pick up both demons and brought them to Roland
