Walking out of the hospital with Kiera made my world. I blushed hard. I knew it and confessed it. I loved Kiera more than just friends. She felt the same way. My heart was over the moon. Kiera came over to my house when my mom dropped a bombshell on us.

“Girls. I have decided to send you both to a mental therapy Facility. The doctors recommended it. It might help you get over this traumatic thing. Kiera your parents agreed when they found out about the shooting.”

I was shocked. But I looked back at Kiera. She too was shocked. But she didn’t disagree, neither did I. We needed it.

8 weeks later…..

Me and Kiera got settled into our dorm at the Hope Foundation Mental Help Facility. We have gone to many therapy sessions together, per our request. Kiera took me out on a date and We started dating officially, but we have a long way to go. The police discovered the shooter. He was the only other person alive after the shooting. All the evidence pointed to him. He was behind bars for the rest of his life. Every parent pressed charges. Me and Kiera were there in the court for one session. Before we had to dive out. It became too painful to be in the same room with the person that shot our lives to where they are now. He did one thing right. He brought me and Kiera together but, it didn’t need to take 100s of lives for that.
