-scene shift-

Yn had been feeling uneasy for the past two weeks. Every time she stepped outside or even wandered through the halls of the mansion, she couldn't shake the sensation that she was being watched. At first, she brushed it off, attributing it to paranoia. But the feeling never left, it only grew stronger.

She noticed the strange signs. The misplaced objects, the unfamiliar scents lingering in the air, and the small, almost imperceptible sounds late at night. Though Jungkook had been busy attending endless online meetings, leaving her alone for hours, his presence never comforted her. He, too, seemed distant, preoccupied with business matters that kept him locked away in his office.

There were times when Jungkook had to leave the island entirely, returning to Korea to settle urgent matters. It wasn't  often, but when it happened, he made sure she was never left vulnerable. The mansion was fortified with tight security, guards patrolling the grounds, cameras watching every corner. Yet, despite the precautions, Yn still felt exposed.

Every time Jungkook left, even if just for a few hours, the eerie feeling intensified. She would sit by the windows, watching the sea, feeling as though eyes were on her from somewhere just out of sight. The sense of being stalked clawed at her nerves, and she found herself glancing over her shoulder, checking doors twice, her heart racing whenever she heard the faintest creak of a floorboard.

One particular evening, after Jungkook had just left for Korea, she heard footsteps in the corridor outside her bedroom. Her heart froze. She knew all the guards were stationed downstairs, yet the footsteps were unmistakable. She stood there, holding her breath, staring at the door as the faint shadow under it passed by.

Forcing herself to remain calm, she checked the security feed on the tablet Jungkook had given her. The screens showed nothing unusual, just guards, empty hallways, and quiet rooms. But deep down, she knew something was wrong. Someone or something was toying with her.

Yn has reached her breaking point. The isolation on the island has worn her down, and her desperation boils over into rage. Jungkook, on the other hand, refuses to admit that his need to keep her on the island is about control, not safety.

Later that night.

Her fists clenched, and voice raw with anger. "I can't take it anymore, Jungkook! I'm losing my mind! You've locked me up here like a prisoner! I don't want to see you, I don't want to see this place. I hate it, I hate you, and I hate this child!"

Jungkook leaned against the wall, arms crossed, voice calm but cold. "Hate me all you want, Yn. You don't need anyone else. This island is all you need. I am all you need."

Yn glared at him, her hands trembling with frustration."All I need? All I need?! You've taken everything from me! My freedom, my sanity, even my will to live! What the hell do you think I am, a toy you can lock away and play with whenever you feel like it?"

Jungkook eyes narrowed. "You're mine, Yn. The world out there doesn't deserve you. You'll stay here because I say so."

Yn screaming, tears streaming down her face as she hits his chest, over and over. "You are a selfish bastard! I curse you! I curse everything belongs to you. I wish I never met you! I hate you, Jungkook, I hate you with every part of me! You've ruined my life!"

Jungkook grabbed her wrists mid-swing, his patience fraying as his grip tightens. "Careful, Yn. You're pushing me. You won’t like what happens if you keep pushing."

Yn yelled. "Go ahead, push me back! Do your worst! Kill me! I don't care anymore! At least I'd be free from you! You keep me here like I'm nothing, like I'm just a possession! I'm suffocating, I'm-"
