3rd Person POV

Lilith's words were surprising for everyone, to say the least.
"Have I met you before?" Rimuru asked confused. He could not understand why she referred to him and Ciel as milord and milady.

"I believe you have lost the memories that you have of us, so it is reasonable to say that this is the first time we have met, atleast for you milord." Lilith explained without lifting her face to look at Rimuru.

"Let's discuss in detail later. Let's go back to Tempest for now." Rimuru decided on behest of everyone there. Shinsha and the others could only nod. Since this was their plan originally, nothing too wrong happened, but the way they were returning to Tempest was most certainly not how they had predicted it to be.

As everyone passed through the portal, Lilith was the last one to do so. Before crossing the portal, she opened her mouth as a drop of her saliva fell on the floor. Seeing her saliva fall on the ground and slowly disappear, she crossed the portal.

After the portal closed, a black miasma began to rise up from the spot where Lilith's saliva had fallen. As the amount of miasma continued to grow, the entire room was shrouded in darkness. And, from this miasma, hundreds of thousands of creatures were born.

They were creatures of pure destruction and chaos. They had only one objective in life, to follow orders of the being who created them, Lilith. And Lilith's order to them was simple, to destroy the world. To brutally murder and torture every living being who lived in the world of one her lord's enemy, Ahura Mazda and the world who dared to point its fang at the young lady.

What happened after that could not even be described by words. The first city to fall to the beasts was obviously the capital. As people screamed and tried to run in terror, all their efforts in vain. The monsters would just catch up to them. Those who died on a single hit would be the lucky ones. Monsters would tear apart the people with their bare teeths. Limbs and blood scattered everywhere. Larger monsters would crush the pitiful creatures below their feet, and the blood stains they leave on their legs were left as the only proof of their existence.

Soon, after the capital, nearby cities and villages fell. Not even corpses were left wherever the monsters went as they would devour their prey alive. Young children would be treated as nothing more than snacks as the elderly were just killed and their corpses destroyed beyond recognition.

The great World Tree that protected the world and was the home to the elves was the tallest living creature and the mightiest stronghold in the world. Even Shinsha took three years to be able to defeat the elves here. Yet the World Tree that stood more than a kilometre tall was reduced to ashes by the mere breath of a Dragon Lord that was atleast ten times the size of the World Tree.

Some lesser dragons, lesser only in name, were as big as big a ten storey building. They flew around the Elven City which once used to be the capital of the elves. The dragons flying around would pick up the panicking elves as they were nothing more than food and swallow them whole.

The other races did not fare any better. The Dwarven Capital that was carved into the tallest mountain of the world was a marvel to look at. Despite heavy fortifications, it was easy to take over if you cut off its only entrance as the people inside starve to death.

Yet, that mountain that was nearly as tall as ten kilometres, even taker than Mount Everest disappeared in the blink of an eye. A large golem atleast 50 kilometer tall, made of Earth suddenly popped up in front of the Dwarven Capital.

The earth around the capital began to shake as it came together to make the massive golem. With just one step, the mountain was flattened into a plain. The golem that had appeared out of nowhere suddenly dissolved back into first, rock and boulders. Maybe those Dwarves were lucky, dying a quick death without knowing the terror of what hit them. After all, their kin who survived because of the fact that they were underground were dug up and brutally butchered by the incoming monster waves.

The humans didn't fare any better. The human capital was located atop a plateau. The nearby land was one of the most arable lands in the world. Yet, there were no crops growing in this arable land. All of it were eaten by locusts. But these locusts were not satisfied with just crops. Any creature they came across was devoured alive, be it humans, plants or animals.

The streets of the capital was filled with painful screams as people were eaten alive by thousands and thousands of locusts. Those who were indoors managed to survive longer, but soon, even their house was devoured and they too became food for the locusts.

As for the beastmen, they occupied a large area. Their tribes were spread out and because of their infighting, they had never really been united. Yet, they were still a force to be reckon with. But in front of the monster they had to face, they were nothing but mere ants.

The slime was the weakest monster in the world. Its attack was weak and it could be crushed by even the weakest of beastmen, yet it was now this slime that had come knocking on their door. Millions of slime continued to attack the different tribes. Though a single slime was easily killed, their numbers were nothing to be scoffed at. These slimes were led by a slime general, who once served the Slime Queen, another one of the Ten Blades, just like Lilith. But this Slime General had betrayed the trust of the Ten Blades and was absorbed by Lilith to be used as a weapon for eternity.

These slimes, though cute and bubbly were extremely brutal. Whenever they caught a beastmen, they would dissolve him slowly inside them, all the time he was alive. Whenever a slime was killed, it would explode, launching dissolving acids in all directions.

Meanwhile, the slime general did nothing. He just stood there, staring as his army continued to decimate the beastmen. There was not much difference between a normal slime and the slime general, apart from their size, that is. The slime general was nearly a kilometre in diameter and looked like a blob of goo. And unlike other slimes which were mostly transparent, he was black.

Within a day, nearly all major cities and villages had fallen and more than ninety percent of all the intelligent species had become prey for the Chaos beasts. But, after a week, all these monsters disappeared. The few surviving people rejoiced, thinking they had survived, not knowing what was about to happen to them.

The world created by Ahura Mazda, just like any other world, was huge. All the different world float around in a special place, called the Fabric of Reality. The Fabric of Reality is said to be the very origin of everything, even Gods. Very few beings could ever traverse this Fabric of Space apart from the First Era Gods. But, amongst those few was a dragon. Being a few light years in length, it was called the World Devouring Dragon. And true to its name, it crushed Ahura Mazda's world in its jaw and devouring it, and then disappearing just as quickly as it had appeared. This World Devouring Dragon was none other than the maid, Milia.
