Author's POV
She picked it up and then someone yelled.
"It's a time bomb."
Kritika glared at Viraj who had just yelled. Viraj looked at her expression and then gulped.
"It's a freaking watch, Viraj. Stop yelling in our ears or they will bleed soon." Kritika said and they continued checking the room.
They heard some noise from the end of the container, they pointed their guns towards it and slowly moved towards it. They knocked on the container but didn't hear anything.
Kritika signalled Saksham to throw the table at the wall of container. He threw and a small yell came from that side making sure there was another half of the container hiding behind the wall and someone was definitely inside it. They searched for the switch through which they could get inside the other half of the container.
Trisha was also searching for the switch at the corner of the opening of container when she stepped on something due to which a loud sound rang in the container. Everyone got alert and Kritika asked Trisha what she did.
"I was just searching for the button, I don't know how it happened."
"Ma'am!" Viraj shouted and Kritika turned around to yell at him but her eyes widened looking at the walls of container which were automatically dragging to one side.
They all took positions to shoot, pointing their guns at the wall which was almost half open.
About 20-25 children were sitting in the corner of the container, putting their hands on their mouths stopping themselves from making any sound and shutting their eyes close.
A group of men was laying in the middle of the container. By looking at their condition, it could be easily said that they all were dead while a pool of blood was formed by all of their blood.
Kritika ordered everyone to put their weapons down and they calmly went towards the children who were scared like hell.
"Hello bachhe! Aap sab safe ho! Pakka hum sab aapko kuch nahi karenge." Kritika said softly, sitting a little away from them and holding her hands up in surrender.
(You are safe! We won't do anything to you.)They all opened their eyes and looked towards Kritika who was smiling and then at her team who were standing a little behind.
"Inhe bahar le jao aur inn sabke ghar ka pata lagvao." Kritika ordered standing up and then her team took all the kids.
(Take them outside and find out their homes.)A kid who was of about 6 years was still sitting in the corner with her eyes closed and shutting her ears with her hands. Kritika went towards her and sat in front of her.
"Hey Bachhe! Kya hua?" She tapped the child's head softly who opened her eyes and looked at Kritika for a few minutes and then started crying. She hugged Kritika tightly and sobbed in her arms.
(What happened?)"Meli mumma kidhal hai? Pleaj mujhe meli mumma chahiye. Unko bulao na." She mumbled in her chest, continuously crying.
(Where is my mother? Please I want my mumma. Call her na.)"Aapki mumma Ghar par hongi na. Aapko hum Ghar par chhod kar aaenge. Okay?" Kritika tried to console the girl but she cried harder and said.
(Your mother will be at home. We'll drop you home. Okay?)"Nahi. Vo abhi thori del pehle vo mele sath thi. Unko bulao na." Kritika was confused hearing the little girl.
(No. She was here a few minutes ago.)
