Over 2 years had passed since Marsha died and I still thought about her everyday. I was now 16 and has just gotten my driver's license. I decided to go to a thrift store up the road. I took my mom with me as she was off work that day and also liked to thrift.
We went in and I decided to look at jewelry first. As I dug through, I found a pretty gold cuff bracelet with something engraved on it. It read: Marsha. My heart sunk to my toes. My mom noticed me blankly staring at it and asked if I was okay. I just showed her the bracelet.
"It's a sign, Kris. She's letting you know she's okay." my mom said.
We looked around a bit more but I only ended up buying the bracelet.

This was one of the few signs I'd noticed from Marsha. Like seeing the letter 'M' everywhere, or seeing German shepherds in public. Small things like that reminded me of her and I didn't ignore any signs. I knew it was her no matter what anyone said.
