"Hello?" She stopped running and tapped her headphones to turn the volume up.
"Wait who is this?"
"It's Kirby! Sydney, Ghostface is back again and we need your help-"
"Kirby as much as I love you, I cannot put myself nor my kids and husband through that again!"
"Sydney please! There was an attack on two girls-"
"I know who the Carpenter sisters are-"
"No Sydney! I'm sorry but your the only other person I know who can protect this girl and with Dewey gone-" They both broke out into tears.
One silent.
The other apologizes.
"Sydney. Look, I'm sorry. I understand. I really do but, I've been working my way into FBI just to make sure no one else will continue hurting like you did, like we did."
"Kirby, why is this so important for me to come all the way to New York ?"
She heard a sigh over the phone.
"Fine. What is her name?"
"Autumn Mane. She has a Sister Darcy is fourteen and Autumn is 18."
"Why would Ghostface attack two random girls?"
"They're not random. I can't say a whole lot over the phone but, Darcy is just sadly connected to Autumn. Autumn's mother was put into witness protection system after they couldn't find Stu Machers body."
Sydney muted herself and started cussing.
"Syd?"
"Yeah- yep still here."
"Well anyways, Autumn has no idea that she's adopted, or who her mom really is and all of this. She doesn't know why she's been attacked. If you don't want to come i understand."
"Kirby.. I really can't. I'm so sorry. All I can say is that I believe in you and I'm really glad these girls have you."
"Okay. Get somewhere safe. Don't worry I'll notify Gale and the others for you."
"It was really good to hear from you Kirby."
"You too Syd."
