My Best Friend Anika

I was waiting with Anika in the Carpenter sisters' apartment.

I was attacked, they were attacked. My wrist was having another muscle spasm.

Ghostface crushed a nerve, and now I don't have full control over it.

What is the best thing about it? It's my dominant hand.

The apartment door opened, and Sam walked in with Tara and two others trailing behind her.

"We're all staying here. No one leaves, okay?"

Sam turned to me, "Autumn, I feel like it's safer if you stay here for the night." I nodded.

Anika patted my knee. "I'll get you a water." She stood up and grabbed one from the fridge.

"Thanks." I opened it, and my hand flung the cap across the room. I sat the water on the table and just leaned back.

There is no point.

Anika patted my back and put a movie on.

I heard a banging from Quinns room. I snorted. Anika and I knew how Quinn was. Probably with her gentlemen caller.

My phone dinged, and I opened an airdrop photo.

Quinn. I stood up, and the others were already over here.

Mindy stood by Anika, "Run." The door flung open, and Quinns body landed on Anika.

I screamed as Ghostface grabbed me. He held me by my hair and put his knife on my neck.

I felt a thud, and he dropped me. Sam was behind him with a knife block. The door was being knocked on, but I didn't have time before Anika was being stabbed in the stomach.

"Anika!" I jumped on his back, and he fell backward between my legs. I held him by his neck, and he sung the knife at my arms and cut me. I pushed off him and ran into the room with Mindy.

"The bathroom." Sam whispered, and Mindy went to shut it, "Oh! That's a dead guy."

Ghostface appeared, and she ran back. We slammed the door and put a dresser in front. Anika was crying on the bed.

"Hey! Over here!" Some guy put a ladder across.

"Oh absolutely n-" the door busted open a bit. "Never mind great plan!" I gave a thumbs up to Sam as I helped Mindy with the dresser.

"Mindy go!" I shouted and she shook her head, "Go first! I'll get Anika!"

I looked at her and she nodded. I ran to the window and looked down.

I can't do this. "Come on Autumn! You got this!" I looked at Sam and muttered under my breath before getting on the ladder. My wrist was screaming at me with pain.

I made it through and got inside.

I slid to the floor breathing heavily. They were shouting for Mindy and her feet landed next to me. They screamed for Anika when it went silent.

I stood up and Ghostface was behind her. "What?" She looked behind her, "Oh my god.." She started shaking her head.

"Come on Anika!" We started shouting at her again. The killer stuck is knife on the window and started shaking the ladder.

Mindy grabbed Anika's hand when Ghostface jersey the ladder one more time. Anika fell.

Anika was dead. Gone. She was gone.

My best friend Anika. She was gone.
