The future attack

I knocked on her door and she threw it open. "What do you want for dinner? It's either ravioli or pizza."

"Both?" I laughed at her and said 'fine' before walking to the kitchen.

"Darcy! Mom's here!" Her door opened and she walked out with her stuff. "Bye I love you tiny!"

"I love you too!" She left to the car and mom walked in.

"Autumn." I rolled my eyes, "Mom." I heard her sigh but I was too busy ordering pizza.

"I'll have her back by ten."

I put my phone down, "No you'll have her back by eight like we agreed. Mom I'm sorry that you miss her but if you thought it was safe to be at your house you wouldn't have agreed."

She threw her hands up and started saying things. I ignored her and finished making ravioli.

"Autumn, I'm sure nothings going to happen, no one knows except for you and dad. It's under witness protection."

I just sighed. "You can have her back by nine-thirty." I could see her smile pit of the corner of my eye.

I waved to Darcy through the kitchen window before I couldn't see their car anymore.

Later that night, I put the leftover food in the fridge and threw the pizza box on the counter.

My phone started ringing and I picked it up.

"Hello?" I carried some dishes to the sink. "Hello? Who is this?"

"I don't know you tell me? You called."
I took out a bag of popcorn and put it in the microwave.

"Well i must've got the wrong number."

"Must have. Sorry, have a goodnight." I hung up and pulled out a bucket and dumped the popcorn in.

"Hello?"

"Hello? Oh did I call the wrong number again?"

"Wow twice in a row. Good job. Maybe look at the phone number first. Goodnight-"

"Wait! Since your on the phone would mind talking with me?"

"Uh sure." I dumped some candy into my bowl.

"Whats that noise?" I shook the popcorn bowl and brought it to the couch.

"Popcorn. I'm having a movie night." I sat my phone down and put it on speaker

"What kind of movie? Horror?" I shoved some popcorn in my mouth before answering, "I hate scary movies. I'm watching a comedy tonight."

"I prefer scary movies. Have you ever seen Stab?"

I heard a noise come from outside. I pulled open my security app, "No I haven't. I don't think I've heard of it." I armed systems and checked my front yard and back yard cameras.

A raccoon. Cute.

"Really? What about the signature opening?" I leaned back and started thinking.

"Oh like the kill scene? Didn't they start it with a kill scene? The first one right? It had a blonde girl in the beginning?"

"Yeah.. the girl answers the phone and starts talking to the killer, who then asks her if she wants to play a game."

"Would you like to play a game... Autumn?"

I hung up the phone and ran to the kitchen.

I grabbed a knife and tried to call Mom before my phone rang again.
