"Hey! They've announced the results. Have you seen it?" May rushed in to find Vee lying on the sofa in the living room, watching TV.

"Huh, not yet."

"Here, they just uploaded it to the page a moment ago." May held out her mobile phone, which displayed the casting results for the theater play "Secret Love Under the Moonlight" for Vee to see.

Vee squinted and used his fingers to scroll through the list of names on the announcement page. His heart was pounding. Although he could somewhat guess that he would likely pass the first round, he couldn't help but think that if his name wasn't on this announcement, he would feel disappointed to some extent. It wasn't just about not being able to work with P'Jate, the director he admired, but also because he might never have the chance to meet Boat again.

"I don't see my name at all."

"Here it is! Veeranant Piphathatayakul!!"

May's voice broke the silence, startling Vee a little. He was amazed at his friend's sharp eyes. He had scanned the list twice but couldn't find his own name, while she spotted it with just a glance.

He probably needed to get new glasses...

"Shit!! It's true!"

"Eeeek! Let's go for it!!"

May grabbed Vee's neck and hugged him tightly. She was happy for her best friend, who was getting closer to his dream. They had talked about wanting to work with P'Jate at least once in their lives when they were in school, but back then it seemed like an impossibly distant dream. Now that the dream was moving closer, it was no wonder both of them were so excited.

Vee's life had been gloomy for several months because he had lost his passion. He didn't know how to move forward or what to do. Everything seemed boring to him. There was nothing that made him want to wake up early to live his life. If it were someone else, they might have been struggling to make a living by now. He wasn't working, but it was probably lucky that Vee had a lot of good karma. His family ran a large construction contracting business, so since he graduated, his father had put his name on the company payroll. This meant he had money to eat and spend every month without any hardship.

Although sometimes he had to help with the business, it was very little compared to other employees in the office.

"Do you think Boat passed?" Vee asked after a while.

"He did."

"How do you know?"

"Who am I? I'm May!! There's nothing I don't know!"

"Can I slap you once?" Vee rolled his eyes, annoyed.

"Here! Take a look."

May handed her phone to Vee, proud of her prowess. The phone screen showed Boat's Instagram story expressing his joy at passing to the next round, along with a screenshot of the announcement with his name on it. Vee stared in amazement, unable to believe his friend's capabilities. Without any information, she still managed to find it, while he had spent the whole night searching for Boat's Instagram but couldn't find it.

"How did you find it?"

"At my level, nothing's difficult."

"Seriously, May."

"I went through the stories tagged at the location since the day of the event. And I just found it."

"That's excessive."

"There you have it."

Vee wasn't paying attention to his friend next to him, who was making a sour face. He was more focused on Boat's Instagram account that appeared on the screen. He quickly grabbed his own phone to search and stalk the account.
