The afternoon sunlight shone through the window of a large practice room in a not-too-tall building in the heart of the city. Although the curtains were drawn to block the sun, there were still gaps allowing some sunlight to sneak through. This was the place where Boat spent almost every day practicing. The room was equipped with modern training equipment and large mirrors that clearly reflected the image of those practicing. The atmosphere in the room was filled with the enthusiasm and determination of every performer.

It was another day when Boat had to come in to practice dancing continuously for use in this stage play. He wasn't particularly good at it, but because it was musical, he couldn't refuse to dance. It was another art form used to communicate the characters' feelings in each scene where songs were used to progress the story.

He wore a white T-shirt and black sweatpants. His breath came out loudly as his body had been moving to the rhythm for a while. He felt it was more strenuous than when he went to the fitness center. Even when exercising, he didn't feel as tired and struggling as this. The panting breaths were a clear answer.

As the music played continuously in the practice room, Boat tried to move his body to the rhythm but found that his movements weren't quite as his heart desired. Frustration began to build, but he tried not to pay attention to it, letting it go and focusing on what he was doing.

"Boat! Your left leg needs to move faster than this!" The trainer's voice echoed in the room, startling the owner of the name a little.

Pressure arose immediately upon hearing the criticism because he had been cast as the lead role of the story, but it turned out that he had less ability and was developing slower than everyone else who was acting in the same story. Boat felt discouraged and exhausted, feeling like he was becoming a burden to everyone in the project. But in his heart, he was still determined to keep improving himself. When the song ended, he collapsed, sitting on the floor, panting heavily. The shirt he was wearing was soaked with sweat, and both his hair and face were covered in beads of sweat.

Vee, who was sitting watching from a corner of the room, walked over to Boat during the break and handed him an ice-cold water bottle he had bought with a wide smile before speaking words of encouragement.

"You did well already. Don't give up yet."

"But..." Boat's expression didn't look very confident.

"..."

"We feel like we're still not good enough..."

Being the older one, Vee sat down next to him before raising his hand to place it on the other's shoulder and gently squeezing it as a sign of encouragement. He knew well how difficult what they were doing was, especially for a newcomer like Boat. He had been in the same position before; how could he not understand? Nothing is easy when starting out. Even though we try our best, there will still be a point where we feel discouraged, feeling that it's too difficult to overcome. But if we pass that point, our abilities will develop noticeably. We won't have to worry about being a burden to anyone anymore.

"Everyone has to face obstacles. The important thing is not to give up and to learn from them..."

"..."

"Most importantly... don't forget to believe in yourself."

"Thank you so much for always encouraging me. I promise I won't give up." Boat's eyes seemed to sparkle with hope once again.

"Mm-hmm..."

"I'll go practice some more now."

"Keep fighting!"
