Sanji's Siren Song

Chapter 4 ~ The Oceanids ~

"Captain, Baratie in sight!" the crows nest lookout called down to Captain Dianous Stelè, "Steer her in lads, lets see what we can find here" the Captain replied rubbing his hands together.

"Welcome to Baratie, how many for lunch?" the server greeted, "Five. And the best table that this dump has!" Setlè chortled as they followed the greeter down the stairs into one of the booths, "Your waiter will be with you in a minute" the greeter nodded and threw a pointed glance to one of the other staff members, who scurried out to the kitchen to give Zeff a heads up on the fact that trouble maybe brewing in the dining room.

Zeff came out of the kitchen and walked over to the table "Welcome to Baratie gentlemen...", "Captain Zeff! This is what has become of you, I thought you would have become a pirate again!" Stelè laughed, "Well, I 'ad the lad to look after, so I put my pirating days behind me" Zeff replied curtly, "What brings you back this way of the East Blue?" Zeff questioned.

"I heard that a whole ship full of mermaid's passed by this way a few days ago, I'm on the hunt for a new trophy for my ship, and was hoping you can give me the direction they went" Stelè stated, putting his feet on the table and crossing his ankles, "Really? I didn' 'ear of any mermaids comin' this way. Can't help with that, but what about some of the best prime rib in the East Blue?" Zeff stated shutting down the conversation, "Some of that prime rib sounds great" Stelè agreed watching Zeff head back to the kitchen.

"Pssst" a small boy popped his head up by Stelè's left elbow, "What's in it for me?" Mouse squeaked, "How about some berry and a place on my crew?" Stelè offered, "Ok, the ship-is-real, it's-called-the-Delphine and I-can-show-you-the-direction" Mouse blurted out in one breath, "Crew.... Back to The Oceanids" Stelè ordered.
