Aarav stood confidently in the canteen, microphone in hand.

"Vote for me, and I promise you a free lunch for the first week of the semester.

The students cheered, but Vedika's eyes narrowed.

"Bribery, really?" Vedika whispered to Saanvi, disgust etched on her face.

Saanvi raised an eyebrow, sharing Vedika's concern.

Aarav's gaze locked onto Vedika, his smile twisting.

"Problem with my campaign promises, Vedika?" Aarav asked, his voice dripping with condescension.

Vedika stood up, her voice firm.

"This isn't leadership; it's manipulation. You're buying votes."

Aarav chuckled, his eyes glinting.

"Jealous you didn't think of it first?"

Vedika's face reddened.

"How dare you!"

The canteen fell silent, students sensing the escalating tension.

Aarav stepped closer, his voice low and menacing.

"Watch yourself, Vedika. You don't want to make an enemy of me."

Vedika's eyes flashed.

"I'm not afraid of you."

Saanvi intervened, grabbing Vedika's arm.

"Let's go."

As they walked out, Vedika's anger simmered.

"He thinks he can buy everyone?"

Saanvi whispered.

"Be careful, Vedika. Aarav's not one to mess with."

Vedika's determination grew.

"I won't back down."

Aviraj sipped his coffee, observing the heated exchange between Aarav and Vedika. His friends chuckled and whispered among themselves.

"Looks like Aarav's got his hands full," one of them said.

Aviraj's gaze, however, wasn't on Aarav. It was fixed on Vedika - her fiery spirit, her unwavering conviction.

"Interesting," Aviraj murmured, his lips curling into a subtle smile.

His friends followed his gaze, exchanging knowing glances.

"Aviraj's got a new interest," one of them teased.

Aviraj didn't respond, his attention still on Vedika.

As Vedika and Saanvi walked away, Aviraj's eyes lingered on her retreating figure.

Vedika stormed out of the canteen, Saanvi following closely.

"Can you believe him?" Vedika fumed. "Buying votes like that?"

Saanvi nodded sympathetically.

"I know, right? But Aarav's always been about grand gestures."

Vedika halted, turning to Saanvi.

"That's exactly what's wrong. He thinks he can just flash money and charm, and everyone will fall in line."

Saanvi leaned against a nearby pillar.

"You have to admit, Vedika, Aarav's got a strong following."

Vedika scowled.

"That's because people don't see past his facade. He's got no substance."

Saanvi raised an eyebrow.

"Maybe someone should show him what substance looks like."
