When we pulled up into the carpark and I looked out of the window to see Autumn Davis waiting for Finn, I wanted to cry or slap her..
"Finny," she called out. "Can I talk to you?" I looked back at Finn, who was getting my bag from the back seat. "Hold on, Autumn." He said. She looked at me. I looked back. "What?"
"Nothing," She replied, "I like your hair." She murmured afterwards. She was just trying to be nice, "Whatever," I said, freezing when Finn put my bag on my shoulder. "Come on," I heard him say to Autumn before they walked off, "Wonder what they're talking about," Jack said, popping gum into his mouth. Jack was an idiot, but I never felt weird around him. He didn't presure me. He didn't make me feel like I had to be cool. He was just... Jack. "Probably dinner," I said, trying to sound casual. "Don't they always have some weird family dinner thing?" Jack squinted, looking towards them, God, they made me sick. "Oh, here he comes," he stated, straighting himself up. "What'd she want?" I asked Finn as he reached us, "Nothing, just, uh.. nothing, " he said, running a hand through his hair as he walked off, Jack turned to me when I didn't follow, "Come on, Blondie, we'll loose our seat's because of you," he drawled out, already moving. "Coming," I smacked a smile on my face, it's fine, you're fine, you aren't that little girl anymore, Finn isn't him.
