21:02 Dave Halloway Path to Cable Car Station
'Today is the one year anniversary of the dreadful tragedy the took place on Blackwood Mountain. Sheriff Annie Cline who was in charge of the investigation.'
'Thanks for having me, Marty.'
'Listeners an update on David Halloway, the officer who is still missing...'
'One year ago tonight David's police car was found at the base of the mountain, it shows no sign of David's return from the mountain.'
'Foul play?'
'Not officially no. There is one individual we're considering as a person of interest but his whereabouts are currently unknown. He had an interesting history with Officer Halloway's investigations. He had warned him against pursuing him through the evidence collected on him. He claimed Officer Halloway was out of his depth.'
'You know there is still the old Sanatorium on the mountain. Could he be hiding there?'
'My officers did search the grounds but Officer Halloway himself couldn't have made it that far.'
'Something about that mountain seems to breed tragic events.'
'More than you know Marty'
'Well thank you for joining us, Annie. To all the Halloways tonight, his son David Jr. on this, the anniversary of the mysterious disappearance of David Halloway.'
The road along the base of Mount Blackwood was full of turns, the mountain on one side, but the other, one of the most beautiful places. Untouched by nature. Dave sat on the bus, turning off the radio on his phone and sighing, he already felt bad enough today but now listening to the subject on the radio made him feel even worse. He flicked through his phone and opened up the group chat, loading the video message Roswell had sent the group. It was essentially just Roswell in front of the camera speaking, he wasn't sure why he could have just typed it or sent an audio message.
'Alright, well hello friends and fans. I just wanted to say how happy I am that you all agreed to come on up here with me, the invitation I got for this trip said some pretty promising stuff I gotta say. Now, let's address the elephant in the room. Dave, we're all worried about you, and we're all here for you. I know how close you were to your dad and it means everything to me that you agreed to come up here with us, truly. If you need anything, I'm your man, okay? Okay. And I'm sure David would be so happy that Dave has so many people around him to support him. So let's make some memories we'll never forget, for the sake of Dave's dad...Okay, so! Dave gave a huff of amusement as he heard Roswell's enthusiasm. He always had some reason to lighten the mood, even if it was at Orlando's expense. But that's what you get when you mix someone who loves the occult with someone who is scared of the supernatural.
