Author's POV.
Eman chuckled as she saw Saad setting her duppata on her head.
Well, he wanted her to dress the same as yesterday so they could re-do what he had missed.
He even wore his sherwani again. Man was committed to this role play.
He sat down Infront of her and took off her veil making both of them burst into a light laughter.
"Den ab." She forwarded her hands and wiggled her eyebrows.
Saad rolled his eyes playfully at her greediness and took a box from his pocket.
It was a unexpectedly long box.
Eman raised an eyebrow at its shape.
"Bracelet?" She asked.
He nodded in no,"necklace"He replied and took it out from the box.
"Lekin..mein ne samjha ap mere liye ek pyari si cat layen ge." She said with a pout.
He raised an eyebrow,"Mujhe kiya pata tha Eman. Tum ne kaha tha kiya mujhse?"
"To ap ko pata hona Chahiye tha na." She replied.
"Acha...yeh bech kar mein cat la Doon ga." He retreated his hands and started putting it back in its case.
Eman held his hands and passed a glare his way making him chuckle.
"Kiya hai yar...Jo hai, wo to pehn lo pehle." He said, gesturing her to turn around.
She rolled her eyes and turned around, pulling her hair to the front.
He gulped at their proximity and with shivering hands, he made her wear the necklace.
His stomach twitched as he sniffed in her scent.
Control Saad...Abhi bohot time hai is sab keliye, pehle I have to make her comfortable with me.
He said and backed away from her although his heart and mind urged him to kiss her neck and cuddle her tightly.
Eman breathed a sigh of relief as he backed away. She'd been holding her breath since he moved closer to her.
She turned to look at him and smiled.
He chuckled and was about to get up but she stopped him and forwarded a box to him too?
His expression shifted from anticipation to perplexity. "Uh...ap ki muh dikhai?" she spoke, her hand gesturing toward him.
Saad's eyebrows furrowed, confusion etched on his face. "Muh dikhai?" he repeated, unsure of what she meant.
Nervousness flickered across her features as she encountered his blank stare.
Taking a deep breath, she opened the box herself. Inside, a stunning watch lay nestled, its sleek design captivating.
But that wasn't all - another identical watch rested beside it. Eman's eyes sparkled as she picked up the second one, admiring its beauty.
"Ye wali meri hai," she declared with a playful smile, eyes shining with mischief.
Saad's confusion dissipated, replaced by understanding. "Eman." he whispered in awe, his face softening.
Traditionally, muh dikhai is a custom where the groom presents gifts to his bride, symbolizing respect and gratitude.Eman's thoughtful gesture reversed the tradition, showcasing her love and appreciation, making his heart melt.
"Ap ko pasand nahi aayi?" She asked in a concerned tone.
He took a breath,"Is ki kiya zaroorat thi?"
"Woh..mujhe achi lagi to mein ne le li...agar ap ko nahi pasand to mein baba ko de doon gi." She said and kept her hand on the box but he pulled it back.
