Author's POV.

"Eman meri baat to suno." Saad held Eman's wrist.

She pushed his hands away,"Mujhe ap ki bat nahi sunni! Smjh aayi hai ap ko!?'' She yelled.

He was taken aback by her outburst but he wasn't surprised. He had seen this coming from miles away.

She took a quilt and layed down on the couch in his bedroom.

He kept persuading her to sleep on the bed and he'll sleep on the couch but she didn't even reply to him. She acted deaf and blind to his existence and just waited for the sleep to consume her, to  make her get rid of this unbearable pain of betrayal she faced from her loved ones.

First of all, her father didn't believe her and instead trusted a unknown man who texted her, not giving it a thought that it might be a woman behind that man too.

Secondly, her dada abu did her rukhsati today, breaking his promise that he'd give her two years.

Thirdly, Saad, her *husband* didn't defend her Infront of anyone as well.

And it all made her feel a deep ache in her heart.

She sniffled and turned around on the couch.

"Eman.. kiyon karrahi ho aise?" Saad said with a exasperated sigh.

She didn't reply. His silence costed her her family's trust and her silence will make him regret his actions every day.

The next day~

Eman applied some concealer under her eyes and sighed.

Her life had completely took a 360° turn. She was now in someone else's room, someone who was once her rock, her support but now? Now he's just another person in her life. He didn't trust her! He let her get insulted! He made her feel humiliated.

He broke his promise, the one where he vowed that they won't start living together until she turns 24. He broke his promises and she'll never forgive him for doing this to her.

Saad walked out of the washroom, his gaze lingered on her for a minute and he sighed.

"Tumhe neend agyi thi rat ko?" He asked.

She didn't reply and applied her lip tint.

"Mein kuch poochraha hoon Eman." He said sternly.

"Or mein ne shayad ap ko kal kuch bataya tha? Ke mein ap se bat nahi Karna chahti, nafrat hai mujhe ap se!" She spoke, her voice laced in venom and anger.

He looked at her, bewildered.

"Ye tum kesi baten karrahi ho Eman?" He asked and held her arms.

She pushed him away,"Mein bhi pagal hoon shayad? Ap se umeed rakh rahi thi." She said and walked out of the room, but not before slamming the door shut.

He clenched his fists and closed his eyes in frustration.

She was making him lose his mind.

He didn't even do anything, instead he stood by her side yesterday. He supported her and yet she's complaining.

But he wasn't understanding, she wanted him to verbally defend her yesterday. She wanted him to speak something in her defense even if it were just one word. That one word could've given her hopes for her miserable life but he didn't say anything yesterday, he just kept standing there silently.

Yeah, he did wrap an arm around her but did that make her father believe on her? No it didn't. It only made things worse. It seemed as if she was manipulating him too. It made him seem like a victim in her 'games'
