We stand on the lawn of the gala and watch as the car drives away. "I hate to be the boring one," Lila pipes up, "but we really have to go."

"When you say 'we'," Five starts, "who exactly are you referring to?"

"Not a lot of ambiguity in that sentence," Lila dead pans.

I take a step forward, "you almost had me fooled." She looks over as I continue, "until you pulled that little stunt."

Diego looks down at the ground and I make my way over to give him a hug.

"Listen," Five starts, "I don't care who you are or where you came from but whatever it is, I'd advise you to return posthaste."

"She's right, Five," Diego says, "we gotta get out of here."

Lila takes a step toward Five, anger flashing in her eyes. "I just saved your life you little Kindershit. If I hadn't of stepped in, all that would be left of you is a blazer and some bloody socks."

"Yes," I drawl, "you saved him and not Diego? That's not fucked up at all is it?"

"That's the problem," Five adds, "you're too good, you ask too many questions, you know too much. And you fight like you know what you're doing."

I feel my blood freeze over.

He knows.

"He's got a point," Diego says flatly.

Lila looks in my direction and I raise my eyebrows in a warning which she seems to get. "So, I know how to handle myself," she defends, "that makes me the bad guy?"

"Whoever you are," Five says, "you're in my way. If I see you again, I'll kill you."

With that, he walks off and I follow behind.

The next morning, I stumble out of the bedroom in an oversized grey shirt. Five and Diego are in the kitchen talking. Turning to me, Five says, "it's 12pm."

"And I'm a teenage girl, shut up."

I watch his eyes scan my body, "is that my shirt?"

I look down, "I literally found it on the couch."

Elliot turns around to look at me, "yeah, it is."

I feel my cheeks heat and turn away as Five smirks.

"No, I don't understand," Diego says, "they keep following me."

"Wait who?"

I look up at the stove and realize Luther for the first time. "Oh," I say, "when did you get here?"

"Nice to see you too, yesterday."

I turn to Five, "only missing 4 now."

Diego ignores us, "those Dutch psychopaths."

"They're Swedish you idiot," Five sighs, "hired guns paid to eradicate us before we do anymore damage to this timeline."

"Yeah, but why now? Ivy and I were fine before you showed up."

"Yeah," Luther adds, "I was here for a year, and no one messed with me."

"I have to back them up on this one," I finish.

"Even if it was my fault," Five starts, "which it isn't, we only have 6 days before the end of the world, and the closest anyone's gotten to dad was that driveway at the consulate."

We pause for a moment before Luther pipes up, "well, that's not entirely true."

We turn to him, and he looks at us as though we're about to take away his transformers. "Well," I say, "spit it out."
