Wednesday, 8:15am...
"Three days?" Allison walks around the living room handing out coffees like an intern working a 9-5 office job. "That's what Five said," Luther replies.
"The old bastard did mention an apocalypse come to think of it," Klaus mumbles, "he just left out the part about how soon."
"No," I pipe up, "he did tell you, you were just too high, or drunk, to take it seriously."
"Yeah, that makes sense."
"Can we trust him though?" Allison questions, "I don't know if you've noticed but Five's a little..." she winds a finger around her head.
"Our little psycho," Klaus chuckles. I turn to Allison, "are you saying he's not mentally stable enough for this to be true?"
"That's not what I'm saying."
"No, but it's what you're implying."
"Okay," Luther cuts in, "stop. We have bigger issues at hand here. He was pretty convincing. If he wasn't trying to stop an apocalypse, those lunatics wouldn't be chasing him."
"Does anyone know their names?" I question. "He leaves me out of the loop, I'm kind of just there."
"Hazel and Cha Cha," Diego replies. I give a nod, "thanks."
"That's why they were after him?" Diego asks turning his attention to Luther. "Yeah."
"What did he even see?"
At this Luther instantly pales, "Uh, apparently, we all fought together against whoever was responsible." He nods, notices everyone is staring at him and stands up. "Okay, so, here's the plan. We go through dad's research-"
Allison holds up a hand cutting him off, "wait what?"
"Hold on," Klaus pipes in, "what actually happened the first time around?"
"Yeah," Diego continues, "what aren't you telling us? Come on big boy spit it out."
When Luther doesn't reply, I clear my throat. "We all die."
Everyone turns to me. I offer a nod and a slight smile, "surprise."
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
"Just now, you're telling-" Diego practically rages while I stand there stirring a bit of whiskey into my coffee. "Is it just us?"
"I'm pretty sure the word apocalypse states it's everyone, does it not?" I shoot back. "She has a point," Luther sighs.
"Hey."
We all turn around to see Viktor walking in with a random guy. I eye him, he stares back. "What's going on?"
"It's a family matter," Allison returns.
Oh, that's not-
"A family matter," Viktor echoes, "so you couldn't bother to include me?"
"No," Allison replies, "it's not like that. We were-"
"Don't let me interrupt."
Viktor and his suspicious friend head for the door. "Viktor," I call out. He turns in the doorway, "don't get mad at us for not including you when you can't be bothered to reach out either."
I turn back to the others. "I've been left out of everything for as long as I can remember," he continues. "I used to think it was dad's fault, but he's dead."
