It's two days till my birthday,my school has given a break for our Christmas holidays,

My birthday is on Christmas Day so I consider myself lucky because two gifts for me and my family and friends always make sure of that.

It was now two days before my birthday and Kemaya was over by my house and was helping me plan.

"So girl since a Christmas why yuh nuh just have wah big dinner wid everybody?" She asked me

"True enuh girl but my did ova yasso a tink bout birthday bash like fimi mada ago mek me do dat" I said I'm laughing tone

"Much less fi yuh step fada; nope" she answered me saying

"Anyways big dinner then but tidey mi ago do mi nails and get my dress and then tomorrow mi a get mi wig install" I exclaimed

"Which colour yah do" she asked

"Fi mi hair mah do wah simple black cuz mi mada seh sumn simple since mi granny n har ppl dem a come dung, and for my nails mi a do pink and white"

"Oh ok" was all she said

Her phone began to ring and it was dejaun so she got up and went on the balcony making it hard to hear anything

For some time she was outside on her phone until she came back inside with a sad face

"A wah do you" I asked her

"Nun when it confirmed mi tell u" she said

I just raised my eyebrows and gave a little smile

I heard a hunk outside so I peeped through the window and saw my step dad

"Mi soon come back jus stay Mago do mi nails den mi come back fi u fi go buy the dress" I said to her while putting on my Jordon dunks with a black lulu lemon set

I then left and when to my moms nail friend to do my nails

It was about 2 hours and I just got back home, I pulled  the door and went inside just to see a tear stained Kemaya running through the door then through the gate onto the road, I knew she was going home as she didn't live far, I followed her until I reached the gate where she was no longer in my sight

I sighed and went back inside calling her number continuously but everytime it went straight to voicemail,

I was no longer in the mood to go dress shopping so I just ordered a dress I saw on a store on Instagram and told my mom to pick it up

I just went in my bed and went on tik tok

My step father said goodbye to me and left again so I was now the only one in the house, I then got a notification from a message sent from Jaheim saying "put on a dress and a sandals tomorrow by 12 mah come yuh, n nuh bada ask mi fi wah,done talk, lata"

I rolled my eyes at the way he addressed me •what a bwoy some timish• I said to myself  I replied with a thumbs up and went back on tik tok.

I planned something special for her birthday but I have to do it tomorrow because I wouldn't be able to bring her out on the day

Mi nuh know why mi Cyah stop think bout if she ago like it or if she ago not like it

I got up went into my draw where I saw some spliffs that I built a few days before, I took one out along with the lighter and began to puff away

She a get to mi head bredda and the only way to get har out a if my bun a spliff.

With a few puffs and coughs along the way I was high as fuck

And all I could do was lie on my bed

I was thinking about calling over one a di mukaz dem but mi nuh wah no gyal germsy mouth roun mi hood

I was tired but I let my thoughts consume me until I drifted off to sleep.
