"That's enough about me, how was your day, love?" Y/N asked softly, her eyes lighting up as she gazed at Vinnie.

Vinnie leaned back in his chair, thinking for a moment before responding. "Well, first I went out with the guys, you know, just messing around for a bit. Then I came back and worked on the car with Jett for a while. We changed the—"

As he rambled on, Y/N couldn't help but smile. She loved watching him talk about things he was passionate about. The way his eyes sparkled and his hands animatedly moved as he described every little detail—it was one of the things that made her fall for him in the first place. Seeing him so caught up in his world made her feel closer to him, like she was getting a glimpse of a part of him that no one else got to see.

She hadn't realized how much she had missed moments like these. They had both been busy all week, barely seeing each other between work, social obligations, and everything else. That's why they had decided to go out to dinner tonight—just the two of them. It was a chance to reconnect, to escape from the chaos of their lives, and enjoy each other's company.

They continued to talk over dinner, sharing stories about what they had been working on and updating each other on their families. It felt like, in that moment, they had closed out the outside world, and it was just them—laughing, reminiscing, and savoring every second.

But just as Y/N was about to take another bite, they were interrupted.

"Oh my God! Vinnie, can I get a picture?" A tall blonde suddenly appeared beside their table, completely disregarding Y/N as if she wasn't even there.

Vinnie looked up, his smile fading slightly. He didn't want to seem rude, but he was on a date with Y/N, and this wasn't the time. "Uh, guys, I'm kind of on a date with my girl right now. Maybe next time, yeah?"

Y/N could see the conflict in his eyes. He was trying to be polite, not wanting to upset his fans, but also not wanting to take the attention away from their evening. She smiled gently at him, sensing his unease. "It's okay," she said, her voice calm and understanding. She didn't want to come off as jealous or unsupportive—she knew how much his fans meant to him, and she always tried her best not to come in the way of that.

But before they could resume their dinner, the blonde rushed to Vinnie's side, her chest brushing against him as she posed for the picture, her body language screaming for attention. Y/N's smile faltered as she watched the scene unfold. Vinnie, visibly uncomfortable, forced an awkward smile, clearly trying to get through the moment without making it worse.

After the picture was taken, the girl finally left, and Vinnie turned back to Y/N with an apologetic look in his eyes. "I'm sorry," he muttered as he reached for her hand.

"It's okay," Y/N replied, though the situation had left her feeling a little uneasy. She squeezed his hand, trying to focus on the rest of the evening. "Let's just finish eating."

Vinnie relaxed a little, grateful for her understanding, and they continued to talk. Y/N rambled excitedly about new opportunities she had been working on and some trip ideas she had been thinking about for the two of them. She was always full of ideas, and Vinnie loved hearing her talk about their future together. Her excitement was infectious, and a soft smile crept onto his face as he watched her. He adored her—more than she could ever know.

After about an hour, they decided it was time to head out. Vinnie paid the bill, leaving a generous tip, and they both stood up, ready to leave.

"Wait, I need to go to the restroom real quick," Y/N said, leaning up to place a quick kiss on his cheek.

"Go ahead, I'll be right outside," he replied with a smile, watching her as she walked away.

When Y/N exited the restaurant, her heart sank. She saw the blonde from earlier standing next to Vinnie again—this time, her hands were all over him, her body pressed close to his as she whispered something in his ear. Y/N's blood boiled. She quickened her pace and cleared her throat loudly as she approached them, causing both the girl and Vinnie to jump.

Without a word, Y/N grabbed the girl's arm, pulling her away from Vinnie. She didn't want to make a scene, but her patience had worn thin. She sent a sharp look at Vinnie, who looked completely caught off guard, and then stormed off toward the car, not waiting for him to follow.

Vinnie hurried after her, opening the car door for her before running around to the driver's side. As they pulled out of the parking lot, the silence between them was thick with tension.

"Babe, I swear, I didn't touch her at all," Vinnie spoke up, his voice pleading.

"Save it, Vinnie," Y/N snapped, not even looking at him. She didn't want to hear his excuses right now.

The car ride to her house was quiet, the tension palpable. Y/N stared out the window, her mind racing with what she had just witnessed. The way that girl had touched him, the way she had whispered in his ear—it made her stomach churn. She tried not to think about it, but it kept replaying in her mind, driving her crazy.

"So you're just not gonna listen to me?" Vinnie asked, frustration creeping into his voice as they pulled into her driveway.

"Listen to what?" she shot back. "She was all over you."

"I clearly didn't enjoy it!"

"But you let it happen, Vinnie. That's the problem," Y/N replied, her voice wavering with hurt.

"What did you want me to do? Push her to the ground?"

"Yes!" Y/N blurted out, turning to face him. "Yes, if that's what it takes to show some respect for me."

Vinnie stared at her in disbelief. "Y/N, that's crazy."

"Is it? If I hadn't come out when I did, would you have moved her? Or would you have just stood there?"

"What kind of question is that?" Vinnie asked, his voice rising slightly. "Of course I would've moved her!"

"Didn't look like that to me," Y/N mumbled as she got out of the car, slamming the door behind her.

Vinnie followed her inside, his heart pounding. He couldn't believe how quickly things had spiraled. He just wanted to fix it, to make things right, but he didn't know how.

"You seriously can't be mad at me," he said, following her into the bedroom.

"And why not?" Y/N asked as she began to undress, her back turned to him.

"Because I didn't do anything!"

"Exactly, Vinnie. You literally just stood there and let her touch you, knowing you have a girlfriend. I don't care how famous you are—that's disrespectful." Her voice cracked as she grabbed her towel and disappeared into the bathroom.

Vinnie stood there, his heart heavy with guilt. He knew she was right. He hadn't done enough to stop the situation, and now she was hurting because of it. Desperate to make it right, he quickly undressed and followed her into the bathroom.

He found her in the shower, her back turned to him, her shoulders tense. He stepped in behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist. She stiffened at first but slowly relaxed into his embrace as the warm water poured over them.

"Baby, I'm so sorry," Vinnie whispered, pressing soft kisses to her shoulder. "I didn't mean to invalidate your feelings or make you feel like that."

Y/N sighed, her eyes closed as the tension drained from her body. "I just... I guess I got jealous. I don't know." Her voice was small, vulnerable.

Vinnie turned her around, pulling her close. He lifted her chin gently, making her meet his eyes. "I'm yours. No one else's," he whispered before placing a tender kiss on her lips.

For a moment, the world faded away. It was just them—wrapped up in each other, the warmth of the water and their love surrounding them.
