The blonde gingerly intertwined their fingers together, his large palm contrasting against her small one. He took a deep breath before giving her the archaic paper.
Y/N delicately held the paper in her hand as if it would break, scanning the sketch of a boy turning into a wolf with crisp white fur.
"The first time that we met, do you remember how it felt like there was a shock between us?" Luke asked, breaking the silence between them.
"And how you ran off right after?" The brown haired girl added, a smile playing on her lips.
"Hey, it's all apart of the legend." The blonde frowned. "Take a look at it and tell me what you wanna do." Luke asserted, motioning to the paper in her hand.
His sapphire eyes glowed with a slight gleam of hope as he pressed his warm, plump lips to her forehead.
"I don't want to force you into anything, Y/N . It's a lot to take in, but it'll all make sense eventually."
He stood up from the ground and pulled out his car keys, turning around to give her one last look.
"I'm just a phone call away if you need me." He smiled, showing off his picture perfect white teeth and leaving the house.
Y/N took in every inch of the paper, peering at each word written that would decide her fate.
"There shall be a alpha whom will be the first of many... first to acquaintance with a female human." She mumbled, taking a closer look to the drawing of what seemed like Luke shifting into his wolf form.
Even in the sketch, his sapphire eyes seemed to shine bright and stare intently at her. Standing next to the white-furred wolf, was a girl who astoundingly looked like Amisha.
She didn't know what to do. What was she supposed to do? Tell Luke that she was ready to be with him for life even though they barely knew each other?

The familiar forest surrounded her and the sound of the small river was echoing through the trees. The strong blonde had suddenly appeared next to the girl, icy blue eyes somehow reassuring her.
"You know that you're all mine, alright?" His raspy voice whispered, just so she could hear.
"Yours," The girl mumbled, closing her eyes at the closeness of his towering body as he pushed her against one of the many trees. His warm fingers trailed down the side of her cheeks, but suddenly they were replaced with a hand so cold that it made her skin burn.
She opened her eyes to see that her protector was gone and in his place stood a unknown man with skin the color of snow.
"You don't need him. After all, Luke's dead anyways." The man's deep brown eyes seemed to mock her as he motioned for her to turn around.
There he was, the boy who had saved her from harm, a sharp dagger dug in his chest. His once bright sapphire eyes, were now lifeless and void of any familiarity. His strong and protective body was laying on the ground, spots of his blood surrounding him, staining the snow with red.

The blonde sat up in his bed, trying to wrap his head around the images flashing through his mind. The last time that he had gotten a nightmare was when he was a little boy, but his father had bought him a dream catcher to solve his problem.
The darkness surrounding him indicated that it was close to four in the morning. Who was that unknown man in the dream? Luke rubbed his forehead trying to think of who it could be. The harder he tried, the more frustrated he got.
The awful ringtone of his phone echoed through the dark room, making him grumble a string of curse words. Reluctantly, he reached over to pick up the call.
"Hello?" The his raspy deep voice answered, worry laced in his tone after he recognized who it was.
"Hey, I know it's like really late but-" She frantically rambled into the phone, but Luke had cut her short.
"You had that dream too, didn't you?" Luke breathed, his heart beating out of his chest.
The blond got out of his bed and hastily threw on an old pair of sweatpants. He had no clue why he was nervous, the dream seeming to trigger his protective side.
"How did you know?" Her voice faltered, tears pricking at the corner of her eyes. She waited for a reply on the other end of the call.
"We're mates, remember?" Luke grabbed the keys to his black Camaro and quietly left the house, almost tripping over his own two feet. "We get the same nightmares."
Y/N 's heart leaped at the word "mates," the concept not yet grasped by her. She stayed silent, hearing the prominent noise of a car engine in the background.
As if Luke knew what she was thinking, he answered her.
"I'm coming to pick you up, I'm on my way to your place." His werewolf instincts started to kick in, making him afflictive and ready to snap at any moment.
"But Luke, it's like four thirty in the morning and my mom-,"
"Y/N , it'll work out." Luke asserted with an edge to his voice. "She won't find out. I promise."

The thought of seeing his familiar icy blue eyes made her mind spin as she watched his sleek car pull up in front of her. Luke clambered out of the vehicle in a hurry to grab Y/N.
Instinctively, he tightly wrapped strong his arms around her back, pulling her into her chest. His hands were beginning to slightly tremble because of the result of his nervousness and the situation that they were in.
The two stood on Y/N 's front yard in each other embrace, seeming to be in a trance with no care for anything else.
"Thank god that you're alright." Luke whispered, nuzzling his head on her shoulders. His actions reminded Y/N of a small child yearning for warmth and safety. The stubble on his face tickling her as she ran her hand down his long back soothingly.
"Luke, it's okay. It was just dream. We're fine, right?"
"No...," He muttered, despite the reassurances that she had whispered. "I can't get it out of my mind. It's-it's not going away."
Somehow the pair had ended up in the backseat of Luke's car with Y/N laying in between in his legs. Luke's broad shoulders covered most of the window behind him, his legs awkwardly positioned on either side of the brown haired girl to make space for them.
He ran his long fingers absentmindedly through her hair, Y/N humming in approval. The blonde pulled her even tighter to his chest, her scent seeming to relax him.
"Who knew that the alpha of the pack was a low key cuddler?" Y/N smiled, earning a groan from Luke. This was a drastic change compared to his Mr. tough-guy demeanor.
"If you tell anyone about this, especially Michael, you're gonna regret it." The blue eyed boy reprimanded with a smirk playing on his lips.
"Only because it's you." She yawned, playing with the silver ring on Luke's pinky finger.
Luke grumbled something incoherent as he closed his eyes, intertwining their fingers together before drifting off.

Noises which seemed to be yelling awoke her from her sleep. Y/N opened her eyes to meet the unrecognized walls of someone's room, the sun shining through the vast windows. The white walls were covered with band posters, many of which that she didn't know. On the nightstand was a picture of a young boy surrounded by what seemed to be his friends. It took a second before Y/n stitched the pieces together. It was Luke's room.
A voice of a woman shook her from her thoughts as she whipped her head around to meet the voice. She had bright blonde hair and blue eyes, wearing a pair of red scrubs.
"So you're Luke's mate."
