Suspension Over Part 4

I knocked on the door
Miss Keane: come in
I walked in with Archie
Hayden: Mr Mathews said im in here today
Miss Keane: are you Hayden?
Hayden: yeah
Miss Keane: sit down in an empty seat
I sat down and Archie sat next to me
Miss Keane: Hayden you got something to put on my desk?
I reached into my pocket but it wasn't there. Archie gave it to me
Archie: you dropped it on the floor
Hayden: thanks
I put it on her desk and sat back down.
Miss Keane: Harry can you hand out the work booklets please? Hayden I've printed one out for you. It was peach that helps you isn't it?
Hayden: yeah
She gave me the booklet
Miss Keane: I want you all to make a start on the area of complex shapes
I opened the booklet and found it. I had already done this
Hayden: miss I've already done this
Jamie: how has the kid from bottom set already done this? I thought he was stupid
I stood up
Hayden: what did you say?
Miss Keane: let's just take a breath. Jamie anymore rudeness and you'll be removed from the classroom. Hayden was in bottom set because of his behaviour and he had worked so hard to move up and he did. Sets don't determine your smartness. Each set learns in different ways and speed. Jamie I think you should apologise.
Jamie: im sorry
Hayden: okay
Miss Keane: Hayden you will still have to complete because this work booklet will go towards your grade but let me know when you finish and I'll help you with the next topic
Hayden: can I use a calculator?
Miss Keane: if you want too
I made my way through the complex shapes part. I got up and started walking around.
Archie: Hayden let's step outside
Hayden: no im fine
Archie: then take a seat
I sat down but got up again after a couple minutes
Archie: Hayden come on
We went outside and we were walking around the school. We walked past mr wrens office
Mr Wren: Hayden
He poked his head round the door
Mr Wren: you okay?
Hayden: just having a break
Mr Wren: come and see me before you go home
Hayden: okay
Archie: you ready to go back inside?
Hayden: yeah
We walked back in the class and I got on with the work
Hayden: miss im finished
Miss Keane: next time hand up okay
Hayden: sorry
Miss Keane: work through the booklet and if you need any help let me know
Hayden: okay
I did a few before the bell rang.
Miss Keane: Hayden can you stay behind?
Hayden: I didn't do anything
Miss Keane: it's nothing bad I promise
Miss waited for everyone to leave.
Miss Keane: really good work today. How did you find it?
Hayden: better. I like maths so I can concentrate on it.
Miss Keane: that's expected. Maths continuously challenges the mind especially if it's something you find interesting.
Hayden: that makes sense. When I enjoy something I can focus on it
Miss Keane: I'm happy to keep you in this class
Hayden: really?
Miss Keane: yeah
Hayden: cool
Miss Keane: here
She gave me my report

1) keep hands to self ✅
2) Compete all work to best of ability ✅
3) no inappropriate language (including swearing) ✅
4) follow all instructions 1st time ✅
5) remain in class unless with Archie ✅

Comments:
Really good lesson today. There was a small incident but Hayden did really well and didn't respond physically. Got on with the work and was really focused. No disruptions. +30 points and positive comment on SIMS. Will also send a positive message to dad. DK

Miss Keane: I'll see you tomorrow. Well done today
Hayden: thanks Miss
Me and Archie left
Archie: I'll see you tomorrow okay
Hayden: mhm
I was walking when Mr Wren stopped me

Nick Wren pov
Nick: you forgot to come and see me
Hayden: my bad
We walked to his office and we sat down.
Nick: can I have a look at your report?
He gave it to me and as I was reading it I was smiling
Hayden: what you smiling like a weirdo for?
Nick: I think this is the best day you've ever had
Hayden: it was alright.
Nick: all ticks
Tanya walked in
Hayden: I had a good day today
Tanya: you did. I've been receiving loads of positive emails about you today. I heard about the incident at lunch but im glad you didn't let it ruin the rest of the day. Moments like this is why I enjoy being your head of year
Hayden: ah is Miss gonna cry
Nick: you keep this up and we may just have a surprise for you
Hayden: what kinda surprise?
Nick: you behave yourself and you may then find out
Hayden: can I at least have a hint?
Nick: nope
Hayden: ergh you're so annoying
Tanya: I think we'll call dad and tell him how well today went
Hayden: do you have to?
Tanya: im sure he would be proud
I noticed his face change
Nick: is there something you wanna talk about?
Hayden: no
Nick: are you sure?
Hayden: yeah. I should go dad's probably waiting outside
Hayden left and me and Tanya just looked at each other
Tanya: that was weird
Nick: very weird
Tanya: I'll have a catch up with him in the morning

Hayden pov
Dad was in the car park and I got in the car
Dad: you took your time
Hayden: im sorry. Mr Wren wanted to talk to me
Dad: you've gotten yourself into more trouble
Hayden: no actually! I had a good day. Not like you'd care
Dad: what?!
Hayden: you don't care. All you care about is John. The golden child
Dad: Hayden
I just put my AirPods in and blasted my music. We got home and I just went straight to my room. I was playing fifa with  Tommy, Freddie and George when my phone started ringing.
Hayden: hello?
??: Hayden what's going on?
Hayden: nothing. Did dad ring you?
John: yeah he's worried
Hayden: im fine
John: Hayden
Hayden: bye
I put the phone down
