"If I Would Be A Flower"
If I would be a flower,
I don't think I would be a rose,
That would bloom every hour,
And the one that always glows. If I would be a flower,
I don't think I would be a daisy,
Because I'm not a bright girl,
And I'm often hazyIf I would be a flower,
I don't think I would be a tulip,
Because I'm dour,
And I'm not fillip.If I would be a flower,
I also don't think I would be a violet,
Because I can't trier,
And I'm not always desired. If I would be a flower,
I don't think I would be a lily,
Because I can't do a vower,
And I'm not dreamyIf I would be a flower,
I don't think I would be a peony,
Because I'm a little bit prickly,
And I'm not always pretty.So I guess, if I were a flower,
I would be a simple one,
One that's often overlooked,
But still holds its own.Perhaps, if I would be a flower,
I would be a narcissus,
One that seeks for love,
And one that is as unique as a luscious.Or, if I would be a flower,
I would be a marigold,
One that stands out from the rest,
One in that no one has ever.So no matter what flower I would be,
Whether it's the rose, or a daisy,
A tulip, or a narcissus,
Or a marigold or a peony.I would still grow my own way,
And find my own path to the sun,
As every flower is unique,
And every flower has its own special glow. And one that no one has ever forgotten
Even though I'm simple and quiet,
I'm still a flower,
A flower that's unique and beautiful in its own way,
And that's enough for me.
