I was sitting on a stool in the tent in which shizue was resting unconscious

«Notice. Analysis and integration of individual Ifri-»

"While I appreciate your help, great sage. Can we dismiss this notice for later"

«Affirmative.»

Shizue stirred a bit making rimuru smile "I have a day to talk to her... Looks like she is waking up" Shizue opened her eye's slowly and began tearing up remembering what happened

"I am sorry... Rimuru san." She let out through her tears, making him panic and try to help her.

"It's totally fine! There wasn't much damage and-" She smiled through her tears.

"I am glad... May I talk to you rimuru san." She asked wiping the tears from her eyes

"Sure!" He replied smiling and she smiled back "firstly, I am so sorry..."

"It's no problem. It wasn't your fault afterall!"

She smiled at him "I wanted to tell you about my life and ask you two favours..."

"Sure I am all ears!" He smiled at her
She smiled back sadly "first let me tell you how I got here." Rimuru nodded indicating her to continue

"I was summoned here... I was from a village before the end of the war. My town was burning, my mother tried to escape with me. That's when I was summoned..."

Rimuru's expression softened "that must have been tough..." She smiled sadly "I was summoned by one of the demon lords Leon Cromwell... He originally said that I wasn't what he wanted to summon. I believe he was trying to summon a hero. However, after seeing my affinity to fire he gave Ifrit my body but since I had a consciousness it must have not worked fully..."

Rimuru seemed angry but still indicated her to continue. "One day I met a girl. She and I found a puppy and the girl wanted to ask Cromwell if they could keep it... I warned her it was a bad idea but she didn't listen... Unfortunately in the meeting the puppy continually barked at him so he killed it... And used the seal on my soul to force me to kill her..."

Rimuru's crimson red eyes glowed dangerously but he made sure to hide it from her "that... Must have been very very tough".

She smiled sadly " It was... After a while leon suddenly left. He left me there and i was just sad for a while about how I killed my only friend. And I still couldn't control Ifrit... One day I met a women. She was majestic... She had black hair and a mask on her face. She talked to me and helped me train... But one day. She had to leave... She gave me the mask and left... I carry it to this day." She held the mask close to her chest.

Rimuru smiled at her softly. She smiled back "after that. I spent my life trying to help others. I became a recognised hero. Saved people.... And wondered if my good deeds would make up for the fact that I killed her...."

Rimuru's smile became sad. "And as for the favour... I want you to know. " Cough. Cough her body starts to turn old her hair turns from black to grey.

"The summoning process comes at the price of shortening ones lifespan. Ifrit had prevented me from aging. But, even though I have only lived for 29 years... I am biologically i am... 78..." She said seemingly self conscious about her age.

"Hey! That's not your fault! You are still young in my eyes!" He smiles at her reassuringly

She blushes a bit and smiles "you really think so?" He smiles back "yes!"

"Thank you, rimuru san" She says in a weak voice. "No problem..."

"As for the favour... I hope it's not much to ask but in a school of ingrasia, freedom academy. There are some students like me... They are near death due to their magicules being unstable... "
