hi :)
i haven't logged onto wattpad in YEARS, but it felt wrong not to address the tragedy of what has happened to liam.
over the last few years, because of his actions, i have distanced myself from liam. i still (somewhat) supported him, though. however, after his treatment towards maya henry and his younger fans spoke up, i was appalled and disgusted. i couldn't believe that this was the man that i had looked up to since i was ten years old.
of course, maya had absolutely every right to advocate for herself, and i 100% percent stand by her at this time, and i did prior to liam's passing.
liam's passing.
i almost threw up when i heard those words. my stomach is full of knots that have yet to go away, and i don't think i will never process the fact that he is truly gone. maya will never get her closure, and liam will never get the help that he really needed.
growing up, one direction had a massive impact in my life. i was textbook definition of a directioner. that was, basically, my title all throughout school, and i never went a day without listening to their music. i even listened to them for six days straight when i was hospitalised.
if i'm being transparent, i'm STILL the one direction girl. from the day that the whole band split, i was behind harry, niall, louis and zayn (and liam too, for a short period of time) all the way. and i know that will never change.
(i even went to see niall in concert this year lol)
i don't think i'd still be here today if it wasn't for one direction and their music, and i say that with my whole chest.
my heart goes out to the boys, liam's friends and family, to liam's girlfriend, and to his son especially, who will grow up without a father.
thank you liam payne. thank you for everything.
forever a directioner. 💛
