Someone New

After around 2 weeks of going to the new preschool Micheal already found himself comfortable around new kids.

On the other hand Alex hasn't made any progress. Just like at the start he spent most of the time by himself mostly by reading the books for kids that were in the class or playing with the basketball hoop.

As another week and another Monday came by William drove the two boys to preschool. Micheal slept in his seat meanwhile Terry looked out the window feeling like he was only wasting his time. Though he got used to spending time all by himself at preschool.

When they got to the kindergarten Alex played with the basketball hoop by himself.

: Hi.

He suddenly hears. The boy holds onto the ball and looks over to the source of the sound.

He sees a boy with darker skin color and red hair. He gulps and goes silent for a while before speaking.

T: Um... Hi. D-Do you need something?

N: I'm Noah.

Terrance looks at Noah with a bit of surprise.

T: I'm... I'm Terry.

N: Can I play with you?

Terry feels a soft blush appear on his face from nervousness and embarrassment.

T: Um... Yes.

The two boys begin to play together. At first it felt a little awkward, but soon they both got more comfortable with each other. Slowly they engaged in a conversation while playing with the children's version of the basketball hoop.

At a diner William and Henry are in a staff room testing new springlock suits.

Will wore one of the suits. He walks around the room and tries the flexibility in it while Henry takes some notes.

H: How are you feeling?

W: Great, it's way more flexible than I expected it to be. How does it look like?

The taller man looks at his friend while presenting himself and waits for Henry's opinion about the costume.

The blond looks for a longer while from his notebook.

H: I think it looks alright.

W: Seems like we did a good j-

William stops as he hears a snap making Henry confused. The taller one holds onto his stomach.

H: William? What happened?

The older came up to him and wanted to touch him but Will told him not to.

The man felt liquid run through his fingers, just what Henry noticed.

H: You're bleeding!

He uncovered his hand and both of them saw a splash of blood on the suit, and it dropping onto the floor.

Suddenly both of them hear another snap...

And another...

And another...

When the time showed 2 pm the boys were supposed to be taken from the kindergarten. But today their grandpa came for them.

Micheal waits while Oliver helps the older brother put on his shoes and jacket.
