Five More Minutes

Chapter 3!

We were blasting my country music playlist. Ellis said he doesn't ever listen to Zach Bryan, or Chris Stapleton. 

"You don't even know this song?" I asked looking at Ellis. 

It was Call Your Mom by Noah Kahan. 

"Uh.. no." Ellis scratched his head. 

"This song is one of the best songs on earth." Ellie shook her head. "You aren't living." 

"I'm not some country hillbilly listening to hillbilly songs." He made a face.

"Noah Kahan isn't even country." I said turning into the mall. 

"Whatever. I still don't know it." Ellis rolled his eyes.

"Il drive, Il drive, all night, Il call your mom." Ellie started singing and then I joined in. 

"Il drive, Il drive, Il drive, all night, Il call your mom. Medicate, Meditate, Swear your soul to Jesus, Throw a punch, Fall in love, Give Yourself A Reason." I sung loud. 

"ILL CALL YOUR MOM!" We both started to sing really loud. 

"LET ME OUT!" Ellis banged on the car windows. I started to laugh. 

Ellis gave me a little grin before saying, "you both suck at singing." 

"Whatever, like you could do better." I grinned. 

We got out and started walking into the mall. 

"What kind of mall is this?" Ellis looked around. 

"What are you talking about? Its a normal mall." Ellie looked around as well. 

"This is a poor mall." Ellis made a face.

"This is the best mall around? Were in St. Louis, not New York Ellis." I said as we walked into Sephora.

"Not Sephora, isn't this for 8 year old girls that mess around with Drugged Elephant or whatever its called?" Ellis through a fit.

"Um no. Its a store that sells beauty products.. and its call Drunk Elephant, not drugged." I grinned.

"Same thing." He muttered.

"Not really," Ellie rolled her eyes. 

I walked around picking up some refills I needed as Ellis followed around making fun of everything I grabbed. 

As soon as we walked out, Ellis let out a long breath. "Finally, I can breathe." He muttered. 

I hit him as he grinned at me. Hes so cute. 

Ellie made her way into American Eagle while Ellis went to a shoe store. 

I picked up a few pairs of jeans and new clothes and paid then we made our way over to Aerie. 

As we were paying I felt a tug on my hair, I turned around and it was Ellis holding 3 bags of 2 boxes in each. 

He was smiling at me. I couldn't help to grin back as Ellie was paying for her clothes. 

"You hit jackpot in the shoe store?" I looked down at his bags.

"I spent over $500 in there." He sighed. 

My jaw dropped. "Thats insane." 

"I needed a new wardrobe." 

"A wardrobe of shoes?" 

"Shut up." He frowned. 

I started to grin and then Ellie turned around "Im ready!" 

We walked out and made our way through several other stores before Ellis started to fully complain.
