~Amity's Pov~

On our walk back home, I thought about everything that happened tonight. I wasn't able to believe that Luz kissed me. I was wondering if she was aware of my feelings for her, she probably put one and one together. The idea of her knowing made me nervous. I began to blush and Luz asked:"Are you okay?","Yeah, I'm fine.","Alright." Luz said. I noticed that Luz was freezing. I took her blazer off and put it on her shoulders. She turned to me and said:"Thanks.","No problem and regarding what happend at Grom...","I'm sorry that I kissed you out of nowhere. I didn't know what else to do to get Grom out of your head.","Oh, you don't need to apologize. I don't mind it. Aside from that, I kissed you aswell.","Right.","But that's not what I meant. You're probably wondering about who Grom turned into when looking at me.","I dunno.","You're lying. You know who it was.","Okay, yes. I know it was me.","You...you want to talk about it?","No, not now. I wanna make sure that Eda is fine first.","Oh, okay." I said as we arrived. Luz opened the door and Luz shouted:"Eda! Are you here?!","W-what?" Eda asked from the kitchen. We ran into the kitchen and saw Eda lying on the floor drunk. I said:"Called it.","Yeah, but why did you leave without us?","I could have sworn that I took you two with me.","No, you kidnapped two other girls." King said while walking in. Luz helped Eda up and said:"Okay, let's bring you to bed.","Mhm.","You need help?","No, Amity." Luz replied and walked with Eda away. I looked at King asked:"Should I bring you to bed?","Yes!" King said excited. King hated it when he was treated like a toddler, except when I did it. I said:"Alright, let's go.", and picked him up. I brought him to his room and put him in his bed. I said:"Good night King.","Good night Amity." King said as I petted his head. He closed his eyes and fell asleep. I left his room quietly and walked upstairs, I opened the door to Luz's room and saw her looking at her old beanie. She turned around and said:"Oh, I'm sorry. I wa-","It's okay. Do you wanted it back?","No, no. It's yours. Luz replied and walked over to me. She put it on my head and said:"Looks good on you.","Oh, thanks.","Well, time for me to go to my couch.","No, you're sleeping on the couch for weeks. Now it's my turn to sleep downstairs.","You don't need to, I don't mind it.","But I do, you stay here. I probably can't sleep anyways.","You're sure?","Yes, just let me grab me my nightclothes." I answered and walked over to get them. As I was leaving, I said:"Good night Luz.","Night Amity." Luz said and I closed the door. I walked to the bathroom and got changed, I then went to the living room. I laid down on the couch and fell asleep quickly.

I woke up the next morning and stood up. I looked at my scroll and saw it was always noon. I heard laughter from the kitchen and walked in it. I saw Luz, Eda and King sitting at the table. Luz turned to me and said:"Amity, you finally woke up.","Why didn't you wake me up?","Well, I wanted to let you sleep." Luz replied and Eda stood up. I walked to her and hugged her. Eda asked:"Whoa, what's this about?","It's just that I was worried about you.","Ah, don't worry. You guys won't get rid of me this fast.","Hey! I wanna hug too!" King shouted and sprinted to us. He hugged my leg and Luz also joined us. I started to cry and Luz asked:"Are you okay?","Yes. It's just...thank you all for being so kind to me.","No problem Kiddo, but Mama gotta go to work.","Oh, sorry." I said and we let each other go. Eda then said:"Alright, see you guys later.","Bye Eda.","Bye.","Bye Mom." Luz said. Both her and Eda stared at each other for moment before Eda walked out. I asked:"Did you just call Eda Mom?","I guess I did." Luz replied as I grabbed some leftovers from breakfast to eat them. I then went upstairs to get dressed and walked back downstairs again.

I walked back to the kitchen and Luz looked at me surprised. I asked:"What?","You're wearing the beanie.","Yeah, I hope that's okay.","I already told you that it's yours.","Okay, is there anything you wanna do today?","Not reall-fuck!","What?","Willow posted some pictures of last night on Penstagram.","Really? Let me see.","Oh, if you really want to." Luz said and handed me her scroll. The first pic was of me and Luz kissing. I blushed and handed Luz her scroll back, I said:"Yep, already seen enough.","I'm gonna text that bitch, I-","No, I mean everyone has seen it. It doesn't really make a difference.","Okay, true.","Speaking about this, what do you wanna do next?","What do you mean?","Well, you wanted to go with me to Grom as more than friends. Does that mean you want to date me?","Oh...I guess...yeah.","Really?","Yep." Luz replied and chuckled nervously. My heart was beating faster and faster, I asked:"D-does that m-mean that you...you have a crush on me or something?","I'm not completely sure to be honest." Luz replied and blushed. It went silent unil I said:"Okay, I'm going to the library now.","Alright." Luz said as I left. That was really awkward.
