~Luz's Pov~

We were walking to Hexside while holding hands. I said:"Dang, it's really cold. Maybe we should do something different.","Oh, that's fine. It's getting warm later.","I hope.you're right.","I know something that will keep you warm until then.","What?" I asked. Amity let my hand go, grabbed my cheeks and kissed me on the lips. I started to blush and Amity let me go to grab my waist and pulling me closer to her. I said:"Yep, that's going to do it.", and Amity giggled. We arrived at school and walked inside, I saw Willow and wanted to talk to her. Then Hunter sprinted up to us and asked:"Hey Luz, can I talk to you under four eyes?","Okay." I replied and walked with Hunter away. He said:"First of all, I want to tell you that you don't have to worry. My uncle told me that the Titan said to spare you and the others. Secondly, please don't tell Willow that I'm the Golden Guard.","What? You expect me to sit there and do nothing about this while you're lying to Willow?","No, of course not. I want to tell it her myself.","Really?","Yes, I...I love her...I really love her. Please...just let me talk to her. I will do it right now." Hunter replied with tears in his eyes. I said:"Fuck...okay. I let you tell it her.","Thank you Luz." Hunter said and walked to Willow. I walked back to Amity and she asked:"Is everything okay?","Hunter wants to tell Willow that he's the Golden Guard himself.","Oh..." Amity said as we watched Hunter and Willow talking. Willow looked at Hunter shocked and started crying, she broke down. As Hunter tried to comfort her, Willow yelled at Hunter and he ran away. I said:"Shit, I look after Hunter and you after Willow.","Yeah." Amity said and I ran after Hunter. I found him sitting on the floor and leaning against the lockers. I sat next to him, I asked:"What happened?", and he looked at me. He breathed heavily and replied:"W-Willow...she...she said she hated me.","Fuck...did she really say that?","Yes...not even because I'm the Golden Guard...it's because I told her that I chased you and the others. I can't belive how stupid I am...why didn't I tell her right away?","Listen, it can be complicted to admit these things. I know what that's like, hiding stuff from people who you love.","You do?","Mhm. I don't think Willow really hates you. She simply cares about her friends. She likely wants us all to get along.","Do you think she will forgive me?","Sure. I'll talk to her.","Really?","Yeah.","Thank you." Hunter said and hugged me. After he let me go, he said:"Thank for helping me despite everything I did.","No problem.","I hope I can get this right. I wanted to go with her on a second date.","Oh, what have you planned?","I wanted to take her to this masked ball that's held in this club in the town.","Sounds really good. You know what?","What?","You will go with Willow there. I'll handle it." I replied and the bell rang. I said:"But first I have to go to class.", and stood up. I helped Hunter up. I patted his back and said:"Don't worry, everything is going to be fine.","Thank you again." He said and walked to class.

I walked back to Amity and Willow. I hugged Willow and asked:"Hey, you're okay?","Yes, it's fine. I have to go to class. See you later.","Okay." I said and I let her go. She walked away and I looked at Amity. I said:"Let's go to class.","Yes." Amity said and we walked to class. While walking, we talked. I said:"Okay, I think we both know what we have to do.","Of course.","Getting Willow and Hunter together." We said in unison. I said:"I think I have a idea.","Yeah? What is it?","Hunter told me he wanted to take Willow to a masked ball.","Oh, I see where this is going.","Yep. Maybe we could make it a double date.","I really like where this is going." Amity said as we arrived at the classroom. Luckily, the teacher wasn't here yet, we sat down on our places and continued talking. Amity asked:"And how do I get Willow to the ball?","You tell her you go with her there as a way to cheer her up and to distract her.","Clever, did you really form this plan in a couple of minutes?","Yep.","Wow, I didn't expect something like this from you.","Hey, what is that supposed to mean?","I'm just kidding my Batata." Amity said and kissed me. The teacher walked in and the lesson started and passed quickly. After that, I had plants with Willow. I walked in the classroom and saw Willow sitting at her desk. She looked down and fighting with tears. I sat down next to her and said:"Hi.","Hi.","Listen, I talked with Hunter." I said, but Willow stayed silent. I then said:"I know that this must be horrible, but it's not like it seems.","Really?","Yes. I know that he chased me in the castle, but he didn't attack or harm me in any way. I'm technically a criminal and he didn't arrest me or anything and he had plenty chances to do so.","Kinda right.","And he...he truely loves you.","Did he say that?","Yes.","For real?","Yes." I replied, Willow was thinking for a moment and said:"I...I just need some time for myself and a little distance.","I understand, but I'm here if you wanna talk.","Thanks Luz." Willow said with a slight smile and rosy cheeks. A big grin formed on my face and said:"Oh, look who's blushing.","Luz, shut up." Willow said and covered her face with her hands. I giggled as the teacher walked in.

The classes until lunch passed quickly, I walked to the cafeteria and got food. I looked for my magnificent girlfriend and found her at a table with Gus, but without Willow. I sat down next to Amity and kissed her. Gus said:"Seeing you two together is always adorable.","Thanks Gus, but what actually happened with your date for Grom?","Matt? We had a nice time at Grom, but I'm not sure what to do next.","Well, I can help if you want to.","Thanks, but I think you should help Willow first. I'm not even sure if I have feelings for him. Aside from that, I'm busy with my new club.","Oh, what club?","The Human Appreciation Society. The purpose of this club is to catalog human artifacts and culture.","Really? Sounds interesting. I might pay a visit.","That would be awesome." Gus said as we ate our food. After we were done, Gus left and I said:"Okay, how about I pick you up at the class room today?","Oh, what a gentleman." Amity said and giggled. I spun her around, I said:"Thanks, but I'm no gentleman. I'm your gentleman.", and Amity giggled again. She said:"Alright, I need to go now.","Do I get a goodbye kiss at least?","Of course." Amity replied and kissed me a bunch of times. She said:"See you later my precious Batata.","Bye Hermosa." I said as Amity walked away. I made my way to the classroom for potions. Boscha left me alone this time around and this class, just like the others, passed quickly like always.

I walked to the classroom for abominations and waited for Amity to come out. She walked out and her face lit up when she saw me, I walked up to her and spun her around once again. I picked her up and she asked:"Batata, what are you doing?","Just carrying my girlfriend home.","Thanks, but you don't need to carry me." Amity said. She whispered:"The others stare already.","So what?" I asked out loud. I said:"Let them stare, I love my girlfriend and I won't hide it.", as I carried Amity outside. She chuckled and said:"You're unbelievable.","I can drop you if you would like that more.","No, I'm fine." Amity said. We had gone halfway when I had to set down Amity. She asked:"What? That's it?","Sorry, but my weak nerd arms can't carry you any longer.","It's okay. I can walk on my own.","Alright, let's get home now." I said and as we walked, I said:"You know, I talked to Willow.","And? What did she say?","That she needs some distance.","Hm, she probably wants to let all sink in and think it through.","True, but our plan will bring them together in no time.","Yeah. You're so such a good friend to both of them.","Well, I see Hunter more as a brother. Aside from that, I mean for me it's important that they're happy. However, your happiness and well-being matters the most to me.","Even more than your own?","Yes.","Oh Batata, don't. Your well-being should matter the most.","Don't worry, I'm doing fine.","Yes, but not in the long term. You gotta start caring for yourself.","I mean I got you to care for me.","I'm serious about it.","Relax. I got it under control.","No, you don't.","Yes, I do and I'll always care about you more. No matter what.","Is it really worth it? I mean what about the time you recklessly injured yourself and almost killed yourself because you cared about me?" Amity asked with a shaky voice. Tears started running down my face, my hands were shaking. I breathed heavily, Amity said:"I'm sorry. I appreciate that you care so much for me, but I'm just worried about you.", and I turned to her. I said:"I'm sorry if I make you worried. I care so much for you because...because I love you. You mean everything to me.", and Amity hugged me as started crying. She rubbed my back, I said:"I can't imagine a life without you.","To be honest, me neither." Amity said. I continued crying, Amity said:"It's okay, it's okay, I'm here.", and continued to rub my back. This and the warmth of her body made me calm down slowly. I breathed and Amity let me go, she wiped the tears away gently. She asked:"You feel a bit better now?","Mhm.","Okay. I have a idea. How about we go home and get changed and then we get ourselfes some eye cream? What do you think?","Yes." I replied with a small smile, it made Amity smile. She said:"Come on, let's go.", and grabbed my hand. We sprinted the rest of the way and arrived somewhat exhausted. We walked inside and Eda said:"Luz, there you are.","What's the matter?" I asked and noticed the hand mirror in her hand. She replied:"There's someone you need to talk to.", and handed me the mirror. I saw myself, but in a forest. I asked:"Hello?","Hi.","How are you? And why do you look like me?","My name is Vee and I took your shape and live on earth.","So you pretend to be me?","Yes, I'm sorry. I just had to get away from the Boiling Isles. I fled the day you arrived there.","Okay and does anyone know about this?","No...except Masha.","Wait, you met Masha?","Yes, I'm at this summer camp and I met them here.","Oh, I owe something for going there instead of me.","No you don't, I like it here." Vee said and a voice in the distance called out for her or me. She said:"I don't have much time. I hope I get to speak to you soon again. Bye.", and she was gone. I only saw my refletcion. I was really surpised by this, there was someone living as me on earth...
