(A Year Later)
Azura was watching her Niece and Nephews 'Lucinda, Len, and Light' for the entire day, least until Sonia arrived with Shadow and Rouge with her daughter 'Vivian The Hedgebat'.
Azura greets them as she said, "Hello sister, Rouge, and Faker."
Rouge greeted back and said, "Hey there cutie."
Sonia sees her babies as Shadow picks up his sons while greeting them, "Hey there boys."
Sonia then greets her baby girl as she picks her up, "Aww hey Lucy."
Azura asked, "So how's Amy, Silver and their son 'Roady'?"
Shadow answered, "Well they're doing good so far due to us having a truce with their White Wing mafia if their son marries our daughter 'Lucinda' in the future."
Azura and Sonia chuckled before Azura asked, "Did they really do that?"
Sonia answered with a nod, "Yeah. Only because it would be a pain to find Lucinda a boyfriend."
That was when Sonia said, "You are gonna be a good Mom one day."
Azura smiled a little as Rouge said, "Speaking of which, have you found someone else nicer since, well you know."
Azura answered, "Nope. Not since you know who has been trying to..."
She trailed off as Shadow said, "Well? I heard he gave up after Sally and Julie-Su got killed."
Azuras eyes were wide with surprise.
Rouge then looks at her daughter and said, "Won't be long until you, me, Mommy number 2, and Daddy become a big happy family."
Azura asked, "So when's the wedding you 3?"
Sonia answered, "About a couple of weeks. You are so gonna be my maid of honor little sister."
Azura smiled at her and replied, "Agree."
But it was true, Knuckles gave up on her after Sally and Julie-Su's deaths.
He just didn't know what to do to win her heart but the damage was done. She wasn't the person he thought she was.
He didn't try to send her gifts, invite her to fancy places, or even try to see her.
It was like he lost interest in her.
(Meanwhile)
At the Red Cross Mafia lair, Knuckles was in his lair while
He thought as he sighed deeply, "Why did I even try? I failed her. Sonic or Azura. I failed them both. I love her but I don't think she feels the same way about me."
Jet was listening to his conversation with himself. He looked down as he sighed stressfully.
He thought, "Shit. The chick really is ice cold. Well? Maybe. Just maybe they have a chance. Do they?"
On the day of Sonia, Rouge, and Shadows wedding, things will be a little different.
